Exactly what I needed!
I was a bit hesitant buying this with only one review but I thought at £14.99 it was worth a try. I have an older 5.1 surround system with a digital coaxial input and only have an optical output on my gaming PC. After plugging it in I then tested using the tool in windows 10 and confirm this box allows all 5.1 channels to have sound coming out of them independently. My music, films and games are way better for making this purchase and I am very pleased with it so far!You do not need to purchase a digital coaxial cable for this as it comes with one but you will need to purchase the optical cable .

Small box big help.
This small box does exactly what is says on the tin. I’m using to convert the optical output from a new tv to the coax input of an old surround sound amp. As it’s so small it’s tucked discreetly away behind the amp.
