 Used by sparrows and doves. It's a fantastic sight to watch sparrows fight and jostle with each other for best feeding position. Other visitors include Red whiskered Bulbuls, Indian robin (female), occasional crows and sometimes squirrels. Nearly 3 dozen sparrows living on a nearby ficus tree consume about 4 kgs of rice a month.

I bought this product a month back and filled them with Jimmy bird feed. It covered half of each of the feeder. Put it up in both my balconies and waited for the birds to come. Week 1 - no signs of birds..... Week2 - no birds eating from the feeder. I really got disappointed because I can see and hear birds chirping near my home. Now from week3 I see sparrows coming and eating from the bird feeder. Wow... And they keep on coming. So you got to be patient friends. Ordered my second bird feed packet today. It's a good buy

Everyone out there should install this kind of bird feeder in their Balcony, Window or Garden... it feels good to see variety of small birds visiting on daily basis. It didn't took more than 2 hours for the birds to spot the food and from that time I can notice them being healthy enough than before. Amazing innovation 😊

18 Jun 2017: I am writing an update on this. It has been one year since I have installed the feeder. It has stood the test of weather. The birds love it. The parrots like to hang and eat compared to pigeons. So it works well because on floor pigeons will eat up all the food. Again the top should have a hat to avoid rain.last week i hanged the second one near my balcony and in just one-day sparrows and munia started eating from it. Attaching a video and some pics .Feed mix : Rice : Finger millet : Fox tail Millet : bajra : Jowar in ratio of of 6:1:1:1:1I have just purchased the feeder . Before that i made 2 feeders at home and then decided to go for it. The quality is fine given that rate is quite fine compared to other feeders available online. I would preferred the plates to be little bigger and also have a shade at the top to avoid rain.It has been just 3 days with the feeder and my wife did spot birds around it. I have been feeding birds from quite sometime . It hasnt attracted much in initial days but i am sure it will. I will post an update after a month.what can be improved - The feeder holes can be adjustable to allow all sizes of seeds or nuts.If you buy from the seller site , it is for 90 bucks , but including shipping it comes the same.

 Very good to feed birds, the bottom tray is small, so I used my own plastic tray and fitted the feeder on it. Sparrows, parrots, sqirrels can feed on it. If put under rain, water can enter through the holes and spoil the food. Better hang it on the trees where it will attract birds. Don't install it on windows as birds are not attracted near human residence. Food to be used can be bajra, kinki ( broken rice), dalia. Also put a bowl of water near it especially in summers.

The birds are keeping away from this feeder. Maybe a coloured container would be better, this is just a transparent PET container. The seeds started growing mold so its been removed.Suggestions:1.A small spacer tube between the plate and the container will prevent the plate from cracking from an over tightened screw.2. A shorter coloured container might be more practical. High center of gravity causes it to topple over and you need nearly a kilo of seeds to fill part way.

its a wonder ful and innovative idea.. however i bought these products and following amendents are requested:-1. the four bird feeding holes are too small in size for birds to eat properly2. the foot stand for birds are not proper. consider making it a bigger and broader as birds are not able to sit properly as its too short and small..3. there is no space to eat from botton of feeder. consider a hole below to aotomatic sprain bro botton4. try and add everyday feeder option. maybe battery operated which automatically gives out feed every day / every 24 hours automatically...

Initially there was no sign of birds for first 3 weeks.But,after that started to feed one by one. I will suggest this product to any one who doesn't want to raise pet birds.But, to have the joy of feeding their community feathered friends !!
