Cute and functional
I don't know if other people have this problem, but any time I use a dustpan, there is always a line of dust or dirt left on the floor. I can never sweep everything into the dustpan. I bought this little vacuum so I could stop using dustpans. It is the cutest and best dustpan replacement! I even used it to pick up a dead spider that was a bit on the large side. It couldn't fully suck in the spider, but it held it well enough that I was able to get into the bathroom where I let the vacuum drop the spider into the toilet.

Too cute
Not needed but definitely happy I boughtfor my office... don't have high expectations it does the job but also it's not going to suck up heavy duty mess But definitely cute

a-moo-zing little crumb vacuum
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my elderly mom who is irrationally obsessed with cows and she loves it. She often laughs at how "cute" it is (if you find weird creepy bovine creatures adorable). She especially loves that the suction part is in the nose, mainly because she thinks it's "precious" but also because the shape makes it easy to hold onto and to drag across her little craft table or the floor around her chair. From an actual efficiency standpoint, the little vacuum works well (better than I expected!) to pick up crumbs, stray pet hairs, and the occasionally misplaced bead/pill/kernel. The suction is strong enough to pick up the little things in its vicinity without a problem (at least on flat surfaces and a very shallow/hard rug; it might have problems on a deeper rug or carpeting) and is a great solution to dealing with little messes/crumbs/fur on a daily basis without my lil ol' mom having to lug around the big vacuum. Oh and the on/off switch is large and easy to access without being easy to flip accidentally. Emptying the vacuum is also easy. Basically you twist and the head pops off. There's a small filter you pull out (which has a little tab for easier removal) and then you dump the contents into the trash. After, you put the filter back in (which is easy to figure out and to do), reattach the head, and twist to lock it back into place. Voila. My mom has been using her little cow vac semi-regularly for several months now and hasn't had any problems with it thus far. I think she said she's changed the batteries once in that time, but it may have been twice. Either way, the battery life impressed me. She says that she would highly recommend it to anyone else who likes cows, and/or anyone who needs a little vacuum for their kitchen counter or desk or whatever and wants something "adorable" and "moo-velous."

Cute and works pretty well
I like my little cow vacuum. But let's be clear, a wet towel does the same thing and it's free. If you like the cute factor or gadgets then this is a nice device. For some reason we always have a lot of crumbs on the table and this little guy does a good job picking them up. I have also used on soft surfaces like my bed and it still vacuums well for being so small. Someone else wrote that it is very noisy, that was not my experience. Obviously it makes some sound but far less than a "dust buster" Only problem I had was, they forgot to include the screen to keep "stuff" from being sucked into the fan. It wasn't worth the effort to return and reorder so i just put a screen in myself. Overall I like this product, I just think the price should be a little lower especially if I have to finish building it myself.

Grandkids fight to use it.
I bought this, and yes other things, for my wife for Christmas. Just a little thing for her to open in front of the grandkids. She didn’t seem to care much for it until she realized that the grandkids fight over it after dinner to suck up the crumbs on the floor. They even named it “Sucky the Cow”! It will suck up crumbs and small items and is just fun for the kids and helpful for the old ones of us! Knife for scale. Thanks Sucky!

This is a KEEPER afterall.
UPDATE: After many months of having this on my desk, I have come to the conclusion that this is an adorable paper weight. The suction is only at the nose end and is small and doesn't suction well at all. I also have the lady bug vacuum and it does a great job!! I am going to reorder the lady bug. The first one is in my dining room for table debris pick up (GREAT for that) and the second one for my desk. Hate to say goodby to my little cow, but no room for both. ORIGINAL Review: At first I was disappointed, one difficulty in opening battery compartment and second, the bottom is difficult to move around on a desk, hard surface. Sluggish and noisy plastic scrapping a surface is not a good thing. I did finally get the batteries in...this needs to be redesigned!! After a couple of weeks, I was ready to return it, but reluctant as it would have to be pitched and the vendor would loose money. Then I thought about giving it away, but why inflict pain on someone else!! Then the light bulb went off. It need to be raised off the surface just a tad, so I put some felt pads on the bottom and VOILA!! Works great!! So I am keeping it. It is cute. Whoever makes these needs to redesign this part also, IMHO.
