I cant connect to bluetooth using my iphone its not my phone as it connects to my other bluetooth gadets fine. it does not show up on the screen.

You have to disconnect your phone bluetooth from other gadgets and then select source-bluetooth on the clock. It should then connect. I have had no problem.

Have just purchased a siesta charge and i’m getting a “charging error” message when trying to charge my galaxy s21+? has anybody experienced this?

As I have never tried charging my 'phone on the Pure Siesta I can't answer the question. However, an e-mail to the manufacturer will surely elicit an answer.

Can the radio via bluetooth communicate with my bluetooth earphones

No, unfortunately. It just acts as a Bluetooth speaker
