Because of all schooling being at home during the virus, we found that my granddaughter who is a first grader needed to know her addition and subtraction by the end of the year.I ordered the addition, and subtraction card sets. They are perfect! She loves that she can make a pile for the ones she has mastered, in process, and needs to know. The box is sturdy, and because they are color coded, each number set is easy to find. They also work on the finding ten process that the school uses . . . giving her that visual on the back.

These have been a great learning tool for my daughter to practice her math facts. I love the sturdy storage box and the cards are clear and easy to read with color coding by number families, but the best part are the dividers for mastered, sort of know and don’t know yet. I will definitely be purchasing more of these for multiplication and division!

These worked WONDERS with my 2nd grader! Wish I bought them in kindergarten for her. It really has all the ones you need through 2nd grade (not sure what they do in 3rd grade since she’s not there yet.) her class has online tests everyday for 5 minutes and she went from 10-20 right to over 100, consistently, with these cards. I LOVE the section for “don’t know yet” — she has 3 seconds in school, so that’s what we give her at home. On the nights where you just don’t have time to do them all, this is FABULOUS!!!My only recommendation is keep them away from the kiddos so you don’t have to re-organize/find them, if they get ahold of them. EXCELLENT set of flash cards and totally worth it.

We bought these for our daughter and we were very impressed with the timely delivery and product to assist us in our at home learning. We use these daily and they are good quality and have held up. They also come with a divider to help identify which skills she mastered and which she still needs to work on.

I looked at a LOT of flashcard options. Being an educator, I was appalled by most options. Other cards were very confusing because they had the answer to back problem on the front of the card, where you were looking at a completely different problem. This runs the risk of confusing kids on so many levels and made it difficult to use those cards in math centers (when you want to carefully pick and choose which options are out). Also NONE of the cards had anything visual at all to demonstrate the math... and mass memorization is not true learning. Besides most kids don't mass memorize anything without some context or meaning to it. After looking at pages and pages of flashcards, I had nearly given up hope and thought I would have to make my own flashcards (who wants all that work and laminating?). Finally, i found this set of flashcards. What a blessing!Yes these flashcards are more expensive... but they did subtraction flashcards the RIGHT way. First, every problem has its own card - no sharing, no conflicting answers, and very straight forward. Second, it displays the problem on front and the answer on back.... and that answer is shown VISUALLY. When something is taken away there is a minus sign in the box in the diagram. No cards on the market are as good as these. I immediately bought all 4 boxes.

Beautiful and sturdy cards. I love how it is color coded and there are tabs to organize based on mastery. I’m looking forward to using these for a long time with each child to re-enforce subtraction facts.

The box is perfect size and holds a lot of cards. The tabs are great when reviewing the math cards with our son. We do it if he answers within a couple seconds, it goes in the mastered pile. If it takes more then a few seconds we use “needs work” and if he is wrong is goes in the remaining tab. It really does work great for organization and providing visual feedback. At the end we can show him how much he really knows, which inspires him. He likes keeping the math cards organized on his own too.The cards are sturdy and just the right thickness. You cannot see through them. The visual guide on the back with the answer will likely help some kids visualize how the math works out.The numbers are clear and easy to read. Both parents and our son have no problem understanding the numbers and what is being asked.Whether your child needs help or you want to further improve their basic math skills, I recommend going with this product. You won’t be disappointed if you like the look and what you just read from my review.

Got these along with the addition ones and are same high quality cards and easy for my nephew to hold and learn. He seems to be better with the math ones as we started with those first so will see if he picks up subtraction as fast.
