Oh, where do I even start with this bamboo sushi rolling mat? Listen, you won't believe what happened. I tried to roll up some sushi using beans, and let me tell you—it was an absolute disaster! Beans spilling everywhere, sliding off the mat like they were auditioning for a gymnastics competition or something.I mean, who makes a sushi rolling mat that can't handle beans, right? It's like building a car without wheels! Okay, sure, sushi usually doesn't have beans, but hey, a girl's gotta experiment! The bamboo sticks are too far apart, or something. It was like watching a high-speed chase, but with beans!But you know what? Even after this culinary calamity, I'm giving this mat 5 stars. Why, you ask? Because aside from the whole bean debacle, this thing is a star performer. Rolls up your sushi tighter than a drum, easy to clean, and has that authentic look that makes you feel like you're a sushi chef in Tokyo.So, despite its shortcomings in the legume department, I'm all in. These are decent priced and do the job! My family wanted me to make them sushi but I was rusty and hesitant (I hadn't made sushi for 15 years) I was worried for nothing. These helped me create professional looking sushi for my family.They did get pretty messy but I think this was more of a usur air and that I didn't wrap them with plastic we rap correctly

Sushi mat was as advertised. Works best when enclosed in a zip lock bag to avoid rice getting in mat. Much better than using plastic rap around mat .!

It's okay, it gets the job done. The quality could be better and sometimes when you roll it gets kind of sticky. The design is great but rollability could be better. I like the size to store in a drawer. The value is great but if you're looking for a seamless sushi mat I'd probably invest in higher quality
