Juvo VEL101 Long Reach Lotion Applicator, White/Blue

The Juvo VEL 101 is a great product! It will reach anywhere you need to use it. The durable sponge is easily changed and works well applying soap, CBD or skin lotion. Great in or out of the shower!

I thought I found the answer to moisturizing hard to each areas, until I had to replace the sponge. Both my husband and I tried and tried, but couldn't get the replacement sponge to "snap in". It simply didn't fit. Now I'm left with a useless applicator as well as the sponges, which are pricey. Money wasted. I'm searching for another option.

I really liked this for being able to get lotion on my legs and back. However, I have not been able to put a replacement sponge in it. The video makes it look simple but I am not getting it to snap in place.

Didn't like this, at all.

The angle of the handle is perfect to reach the center of the back while keeping the soft finely textured sponge applicator positioned flat against the center of the back a hard to reach area. The problem becomes a bigger issue in the winter when harsh weather causes skin to be assaulted by both bitter cold temperatures and also dry heat from the furnace.The oval sponge head measures 4 by 1 1/4 by ½ inches. This tool reaches the entire back and the area can be moisturized faster and more efficiently than trying to awkwardly reach and stretch. The blue grip area of the handle has a soft silicone feel which is easy and secure to grip. The sponge is easy to snap out of the handle and may be hand washed in warm soapy water. Replacement sponges are also available. Excellent.

Sometimes when no one is home and I really want to apply some lotion to my back, it is nice to have a way to do that without having to depend on someone else. Also, someone in my family has an issue on their back and need to apply creams twice a day. Again, it is nice to have that option available. Let's see how this measures up.WHAT IS THIS LOTION APPLICATOR LIKE?This applicator has a silicone type handle on it. There is a long bent handle that enables the sponge surface to reach all of the areas of the back to apply lotion. The sponge is a dense foam and is replaceable.HOW DID THIS PERFORM?I found that the sponge was a bit too absorbent for runnier creams but did okay with foams (think mousse type foam). In response to that, I made a little sleeve out of silicone to slip over top of it to apply creams that were not too runny to the back therefore allowing me not to waste so much being absorbed by the sponge.EASE OF USEI did not have any difficulty with getting the applicator to reach all of my back. I also had someone more restricted use it and they did not have difficulty either with most of their back.THE BOTTOM LINEFor quick access to apply lotion on the back, this no slip handled applicator does a good job without causing strain to the arms or shoulders. The sponge does absorb some lotions/creams, so it was not always easy to use, but it still was better than not having it.MY RATINGFour stars on this one. The sponge would have been better if they included something to use to apply creams with a little less absorption. Although it is not easy to do since all kinds of lotions have different levels of being runny to them.

The top piece tore off after less than a month's use.

I could not reach my back with this item as the handle was too short.

used the product for 2 weeks (worked great) until the foam pad came off....ugh
