There’s always a risk with buying something like this online, but at the end of the day I’m so pleased with it! Purchased for my 4 year old (35lb) daughter and 12hh lease pony, and it’s great value for the price. First off the stitching is beautiful and my discerning eye didn’t find any construction flaws. The underside of the flaps is actually a patent leather (shiny finish) which looks cheap, but the seat and flaps and visible parts are beautiful flat leather or faux-leather. It’s lightweight and my daughter can carry it and almost tack up on her own. The flaps are nice and short so her lower leg actually makes contact with the pony. We replaced the stirrups with a proper peacock 3.75” breakaway that make a big difference for safety and making it look more expensive. The bridle smells like real leather and I absolutely love the reins - they’re very narrow and perfect for little hands and have stoppers for extra grip. We had to oil the heck out of it as it was very stiff. The shipping was quick although it wasn’t well padded in the box and took some time for one of the flaps to uncurl on one side. They forgot the saddle pad but sent it separately when I followed up with the seller. The girth was a little too short so we replaced it as well but the one that’s included is 100cm long and is a nice soft padded faux leather. My only criticism there is that the metal on the buckles is a little rough like the casting wasn’t well finished. We completed this set with a Cashel half pad for the pony’s comfort and our bit of choice. She’s ridden in it half a dozen times and it sits on a saddle stand for her to play on in the living room. Pretty sure this ships from China but I’m happy with it and would definitely recommend to a friend.

Got this for my daughter. I honestly thought it would be too big, but I was wrong, it's perfect size for her. Only thing I thought didn't match were the nylon reins, everything else is leather so why not the reins. But it was a great buy!
