Power Travel Adapter Plug [with Built-in Surge Protector and 2 Plug-in Ports] for Italy, Chile, Uruguay

This is a nice adapter and works well, but it has one flaw. It is too big. I just moved to zurich from the US. In Zurich they have outlets with three holes (so this adapter works here). On their outlets, they do this sneaky thing where they have a "circle of holes" that allows you to plug in three devices at the same time (instead of the US where they just stack two sets of holes vertically).But since this adapter is too big, it takes up the space in front of the other holes in the outlet preventing my from using any other olugs on the outlet.

Bought this because I will be back in Europe next year and the others from this company work very well. To be fair, you can get by with just the European standard plug everywhere in Europe (except in the UK), but if you have any earthed appliances (rarer now), this is the best adapter and the ability to put a second plug in the top (not earthed) is a bonus.

I went to Switzerland in August 2012. This adaptor is the BEST one I could find. I use a CPAP machine, so I wanted the three prong for grounding purposes. I was able to use the adaptor to power my breathing machine and simultaneously charge my laptop due to the dual ports. If you are specifically going to Switzerland, this is the adaptor you should buy and you probably only need one due to the dual ports. Product received promptly and in good condition.

I bought this little purple adapter for my trip to Switzerland. It worked absolutely perfectly with my computer (which has its own converter, as all laptops do) and also with my phone (which also has a built in converter). The product seems really sturdy and fits in the 3 prong plugs they have only in Switzerland. Though a two prong plug can also fit in their outlets, this is better because it is grounded.

Have several of these for various countries. The purple color stands out against any decor makes it harder to leave behind. The side connector for a US or Type A 2-prong plug is a nice addition. Two devices cam be connected to one adapter at the same time.

This adapter doesn't work at all in Switzerland.I tried to use adapter in different cities in Switzerland giving the benefit of doubt; but is was the wrong adapter as a whole.Very disappointing

this worked perfectly and like they say, it was very easy to spot among all the other cords and the wall. buy this one and you will thank yourself.
