This is such a cool windchime. Its sound is so deep and beautiful, it really does feel like you’re at a harbor. I can’t comment on its wear and durability because we’re just bought it and it’s a gift, but you can bet I’ll respond if it gets a bad review from the recipient. Love it so much, we might just get one for ourselves!

I have two other Woodstock wind chimes that I enjoy, but wanted something a little different. I had these more subtle, lower-toned chimes on my wish list for a long time and finally bought them (both the 40 inch and 24 inch). At first I must confess that I was disappointed because even in a heavy breeze they would not chime very much. However, after a few weeks they were both chiming regularly in only a moderate breeze. Oddly, these seem to have a “breaking in” period. Also note that they are very subtle, and you may want to use these to supplement some louder and more traditional chimes around your yard. Overall, I am now happy with my new Heroic Windbell wind chimes and recommend them.

This is exactly what I was looking for in the sound. A very nice deep tone. Very well built and heavy, not cheap clinking sounds. It does take a pretty good breeze to get to move but no issues that I have found. Highly recommend

The media could not be loaded. My original intention was to hang it in a tree not too far from the house. It’s a little quieter than I expected, so I hung it on the back porch and that seems to be perfect. We live in the country where there is quite a bit of wind and that is what you need. I don’t believe light breezes will do the trick. It looks and feels like I thought it would. Built well. I watched a video that someone else posted in a review where they had removed the rubber from around the clapper inside the bell, I believe because they wanted more sound. In my opinion it was a tad too clangy sounding and no longer had the deep tone I like. I am pleased with my purchase. One more positive thing to say is, my cat likes it too.

Takes a heavy wind to get quality sound.

It a great quality, nice sound but not a good design.The cord broke & it’s impossible to connect the wind catcher back to the ball.
