I have had these grippers for about six months, and use them to pick up rocks and wood pieces when mowing. My lawn is very rocky with various sizes of rocks and wood pieces. I have only had to get off my mower once because the rock was larger than the opening of the jaws. If you can grip it you can lift it. I have two grandboys (ages 3 and 6) that play with them also and they haven’t broken them. Highly recommend. I purchased another pair because nothing last forever.

I use these to play ball with my dog, so they get used several times daily and they last and work better than any other grabber I've tried. They can also pick up surprisingly small items.

So pleased with this product. I love gardening and this is perfect for reaching out of the way places. My back is happy!

I have a grabber for every room in the house now! These are longer than most that I have and the extra length is a plus. However some others I have pick up a dime with no real effort. These, however are better suited for bulkier items--shoes, napkins, etc. I would not trust them to bring a glass down from a shelf, whereas others do nicely.These are great to have around for anyone who doesn't work out and is aging. My range of motion is decreasing and bending down is actually harder than ever before for me. While I work on balance, I do think having these deinish the possibility of falling.

I bought this to put up holiday lights three years ago but here’s four other unexpected uses I’ve found for it :1. Getting trash out of window wells2. Snagging socks from behind the dryer3. Throwing pet toys without bending over twenty times4. Aggressive hip failureA 1 lb flat of ground beef is about the limit of weight you can grab, but it’ll do a little heavier clothing. The tips of the rubber ends have worn off but are still good at getting things up off the floor.

CHEAP!!! It came apart inside when reaching for a "small" can and it hit me in the head. This is garbage like everything else made in CHINA. My wife had got one from her company years ago, same brand made in America! So I decided I needed one in the garage and bought a 2 pack and what a mistake!!.I don't recommend this crap.

I have bought several of these. Most as gifts for my older friends. They are sturdy and strong. Whether I am picking up something from the floor. Or grabbing something up high. By the way they will pick up a toothpick or even a dime. I love these grabbers.

My husband bought a less than stellar version of a reacher for his 90+ mother. He bought a 2-pack of another brand. I bought this one for me - a while back. I like to USE an item for some time before I actually review it. I love the Vive adjustable gripper end. I have done many things with this - from getting a can of green beans off an upper shelf to using it to hang wreaths and other decorations on hooks in our house. If I ever buy another one, it will be this Vive reacher.
