Drive Medical RTL3826 Bed Wedge Pillow, 10 Inches, Foam

This is great for extracurricular activities! The foam is very supportive. I am 5'3" and about 115 pounds but I feel it would adequately support a taller person who weighs more. This pillow can be folded into multiple positions. You don't even have to be very creative to come up with at least 5. The subtle blue cover won't make your kids raise their eyebrows or your Mom grab her heart. Honestly, skip the marriage counselor. Buy THIS instead. You will instantly be reminded of your younger days when you were flexible and Sting was your role model for practicing tantric sex.

I use this pillow for so many things. I originally bought it because of acid reflux and some shoulder issues I was having when I bought it, however it proved to be VERY useful in the bedroom when my partner (at the time) was a foot taller than me suggested we use it in the bedroom. For reference, I am 5'3" and he, 6'2".Now, more than 3 years later (according to Amazon), I find that I use this pillow almost daily as back support as I read or work on my computer in bed. The wedge pillow can still be used for the other functions described above and has held up really well. The foam is still firm. I can remove the cover to wash it and it is still the same dark blue color. It's tricky to get it back on, but you just have to be patient.I really like that it folds into a square so I can put it in a corner of my room when I am not using it, or just leave it on the other side of the bed. I am happy that it has lasted so long and I am currently trying to find a new cover in a color that better matches my new duvet cover.

This pillow is well made. The materials and construction appear to be of good quality. It easily folds up for easier storage and transport.I ended up returning it to get a different size. This one is 23" by 23" and 12" high. These dimensions might work fine for someone with a smaller build, but with my average adult male height and weight, the slope was too steep. I could not find a comfortable position for either sleep or sitting up in bed to read or watch TV. I tried flipping it over but that didn't improve anything. My body gradually worked its way down the slope every time I tried to change position.If it extended at least another 8" under my back, it might have worked fine. A shallow cutout or indent where your head rests might have helped also. Again, this might work fine as it is for a different body type, so I'm not criticizing the quality of the product. This one is probably just right for some people. I'm looking for a replacement that will extend far enough to support my entire spine and my hips. Maybe I don't need one with this much elevation.I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because I think it should have come with a basic travel case. It shipped in a retail display package that completely enclosed the pillow and zipped closed, similar to how bed linens are often packaged. The package would be okay for storage, but I don't think it would stand up to much handling if you wanted to leave home with it.

I tried a similar product from different company and while it was good and firm, it had a ver obnoxious oder that didn't diminish with time. This one had no strong oder and what minor oder it had dissipated in a day. I've have been using it for quite some time (didn't provide a review shortly after receiving it) and it works very well.One small problem is the thin case with delicate zippers. I'm using a case that was home made for it outside the slip case that came with it.The plastic container that it is shipped in is nice and useful if you are traveling. It doesn't compress well at all so it will take up a lot of space, but that's the good ting about the pillow, it's ability to supply FIRM support.Comfort and pain relief aren't always properties of a pillow, as with any inanimate object. I'll say that it isn't of itself uncomfortable and doesn't cause pain. How it is used may, but it isn't problematic. I use it a LOT with no complaints. Some may complain that they slide down but until someone invents an anti-gravity device, that will be a problem ann any inclined support.

Very hard and uncomfortable I had to buy foam to put over it. Not comfortable at all and you actually need to have 2 of them with foam over both unless you're the size of a toddler Or your shoulders will ache because they will not be properly supported and it's very hard on the back of your head so then you need a rolled pillow for under your neck so by the time you have finished you need a lot of products to get Even slightly comfortable. Other than that I needed it because I traveled and kept reveled and cannot sleep flat had I known I would have Purchased 2 of them to put under the mattress as opposed to on the bed directly as you definitely need some foam and the mattress must be soft enough to place underneath then you need to put Under your feet so you don't slide off the bed so this becomes a project way bigger than you ever could have anticipated lol but if I don't anticipate it lol
