Oven Temperature
Just a heads up. I just received the sauce pan today. Reading the instructions that came with it.The site says it it oven safe to 500° and the lid to 350°.HOWEVER the enclosed paperwork says both are only good to 350°.I only planned on stove top use, but some may want to use it in the oven.

Great pan
This is one of the best saucepans I have ever owned (yes, that's a long time). It is solid, doesn't rock on the electric coil, lid sits evenly without rattling, even at a rolling boil. It's nicely weighty at 3 pounds. The handle is comfortable and stays cool to the touch. The encapsulated bottom distributes heat evenly despite the stove's capabilities, or lack thereof. Nothing I've cooked in this pan has even scorched, let alone burned. It looks like new, and I'm still happy with it after 3 months' almost daily use. For the price, it can't be beat.

As advertised
This saucepan was just the size I needed for my current purposes, as I'm a senior seldom cooking large amounts of food. I specifically wanted a pan with a glass lid so I wouldn't have to keep lifting the lid to see if the contents had come to a boil yet. (I use this pan chiefly for grains.) As it happens, I did have to crack the lid just a little when I was bringing the contents to a boil, as the lid had too much condensation on it to be certain. However, my food was quite visible after I reduced the heat to a simmer. That said, I love this pan. It feels sturdy and cleans up easily (though I would soak it in warm, soapy water if you've got a stuck-on mess; too nice a pan to ruin). The handle stayed plenty cool, and the lid's handle -- though it got rather warm -- did not require a potholder to remove it. Highly recommended!

Buy it!
I had gotten a gift card for Christmas to buy myself some nice pans. I was originally going to buy a higher dollar pan, but then I had saw these pans. I decided to try these ones because the reviews were just as good as the more expensive pans. I carefully read the insert that came with the pan and saw that it specifically stated not to put salt in the pan until it was at a boiling point in order to prevent the spots. So I make sure anytime that I add salt the liquid inside of the pan, or whatever I am cooking, is already heated, and I have not had any spots yet. It's super easy to clean and it's very durable. I cannot believe I got this for $20. If you were thinking of buying this pan, stop thinking and buy it. I will definitely be buying more of these as my older pans start to need replacement.

Great Item!
Absolutely pleased with this pot. It is sturdy, cooks evenly, and it is easy to clean. It can be used in the oven, and it is dishwasher safe. I do not like nonstick pots, as they peel and chip. I don't feel at a disadvantage with this pot, because it cleans up so easily. Items such as queso, a Texas staple food, will clean up with a good soak and a drop of dish soap. I am going to acquire the larger, 3 quart version for my collection. I wonder if they make woks. If so, I would buy one.

It works as advertise
I have used this saucepan over the past several years and I really like it. I have used it to boiled eggs as well as making sauces to heating up leftover soups. Best way to clean it is to soak it in hot water for a few minutes after cooking then everything comes off very easily. I would recommend this item.

2-quart sauce pan
Looks durable buy time will tell. It was bought to replace one well over 26 years old. It has a nice thick bottom. The vent in the glass cover is a nice feature
