Used this to replace the bumpers on the standard xbox one controller with the headphone jack - this has a one piece bumper design. ....not the original xbox one controllers which did NOT have the headphone jack - these controllers had two independent bumper pieces.To the item: Perfect fit, and the plastic was comparable to the original bumpers.....I had no issues with fitment or quality. Bumpers click and move just like they did before. Was hard to snap everything back together, but this was more by design than the replacement part. Many videos on how to repair - everything clicks back into place with enough flexing / persuasion. I think some negative reviewers may have worn the controller to the point the replacements no longer fit well.....my controller was 3ish years old. This is the first set of bumpers I have lost so maybe I am less aggressive with my toys!Arrived in a bubble pack mailer...No damage to the internal parts..Also, while the tools were not the highest quality, they were certainly good enough for the repair, especially the security bit screwdriver....was using a shaved flat blade before receiving the kit. As both units appear to be good quality and fit well, I still have a spare. Highly recommend this kit.....now back to GAMING!!!!!

Doesn't work with standard Xbox one controllers...you can see in the first and second picture that the arm is nowhere near the same length to reach to switch, let alone that the bumpers are single buttons and not two joined.

My review is similar to others. I had to file off just a bit where the plastic touched the button for the bumper. The "sheen" is slightly off but I really had to look under a light. There were no instructions but if you're ready to take apart a controller you know to go online and watch videos. I had the tools to take it apart already but the tools that came with it were useable. I was able to snap the part in and out several times to get a perfect fit and it did not break. Saved me from buying another controller and have me an extra for when this inevitably happens again. Great buy!

I purchased these replacement bumpers for a standard Xbox one controller that I purchased within the last year or 2. Even though the description of the product says specifically that these are compatible with only the Xbox Elite controllers, I saw a small handful of reviews mentioning that they got them to work with their regular Xbox one controllers. So I paid the ~8 bucks in hopes it would work with my controller.Unfortunately, these DO NOT WORK WITH A STANDARD XBOX ONE CONTROLLER. I am leaving a 5 star review just because of the price of the kit was so inexpensive and would be an excellent choice if you happen to have an elite controller.

The product is advertised as an Xbox Elite controller bumper replacement but did not fit the elite controller. Extremely disappointed will be sending back.

I was pretty skeptical about getting a replacement part after reading all the various reviews but decided to give it a try. Now that I got it installed, after multiple tries, it fits just like an original. You have to get it aligned just right, took me about 8 tries. Key is to put the pumper in first and then attach cover that goes over the bumper and start (X) button. It fits perfectly my Xbox one controller - very happy with result.

The bumpers on my white Xbox one second edition controller were broken. The screw driver was perfect to take the screws out and put them back in. The bumpers were a tad bit too tight so it didn’t end up fixing the click. I still can’t use them. Bummer, I’m glad I tried though.

The added screwdrivers are the reason for the 3 stars. The bumpers themselves were not quite molded correctly. One of the sets worked after installing it 3 times and heating the plastic up to bend it slightly. the other set just did not work. the plastic was shaped just off enough that only one side would work at a time.
