OGX Locking + Coconut Curls Air Dry Cream, No Parabens, 6 oz

This worked really for me on wet or dry hair. I mix it with water (about 1/3 water & 2/3 product) and that makes it the perfect consistency. The smell is amazing! It’s a gentle but a long lasting scent. My hair feels extremely soft and it dries pretty quickly too. Only con I have is the bottle is so small…wish it came in a larger size. I have somewhat thick hair and it’s mid back length when straight so 1 bottle barely last a week. It’d be great to have larger size bottle too. 😊

I honestly can’t remember where I saw this, or found out that it existed. But I saw a video review, and the woman who was reviewing the product had great results! So I was excited to review it myself! Upon receiving this product, the pump did not work. At all. I took it apart I cleaned everything out with water and vinegar and put all springs and nozzles, everything, in. The pump didn’t work at all. So I used the pump/tube as a wand and just distributed the product into my hand. The smell? Freaking amazing! One of the best smells I’ve ever smelled with a hair product! Application seemed pretty easy, it made my hair harder to go through the more dry the product got. Now is where the curl review starts. I’ve used this product three different times . Each time I have had different results when it came to my curls. First time? Amazing! But I noticed the bottom half (underneath) of my hair, which I have dyed much less than the top half of my hair, was curled much more easily, with TIGHT curls. The over processed top half came out wavy/stringy/curly. The SECOND time was a MESS. Even my natural curls were flat and looked like they were being punished. 3RD TIME. I massaged. I let air dry. I tried to treat my hair like a fluffy baby angel. I had air dried fluffy curls all day. Put them up to go to bed…. MY CURLS WERE KNOTS IN THE MORNING! I ended up brushing out all the curl lotion, using a generous layer of hair oil, and putting my hair in a bun. TLDR: Overall is this product bad? No I don’t think so. Do I think this product takes a lot of trial and error? Yes. Do I think that there needs to be more product testing and more quality assurance? Yes! Overall, would I buy it again? Yes

This product has helped eliminate the frizz my hair naturally has. I love the scent, and it doesn’t leave a residue on my hair like some products will do. Of all of the many different products and brands I have tried on my curly, frizzy hair, this is the very best. I prefer this over any other hair product! Great formula, and my hair is soft and shiny and not at all crunchy, sticky, or oily.

I have naturally wavy and thick hair and I recently followed the trend of cutting my hair in to the long bob (or lob) style. I therefore needed a product that would define my now lighter and therefore wavier hair while fighting frizz. This product goes on easy, doesn't make my hair feel greasy, fights frizz and leaves my hair feeling soft. HOWEVER it does not define my curls very well and I think it fights frizz a little too well because it completely took the volume from my natural hair, which is pretty hard to do. As I'm sure many of you know, hair isn't easy. Everyone's hair is particular in its own way and you just have to figure out which routine works for it. Here is my routine and recommendation if you want to try this product:- I normally wash my hair at night, apply the OGX Coconut Curls Mousse, let it air dry until it is dry or mostly dry, then go to sleep on a silk pillowcase. This routine usually leaves me with perfect hair in the morning. Using only this product only works if I sleep on my hair though, I guess it has more time to rest and calm down? Who knows, but it works for me!- If I happen to wash my hair in the morning/during the day, I first apply this product and then apply the mousse on top. The air-dry cream fights the frizz and the mouse shapes my waves and maintains volume.So to sum up (I applaud any of you who bothered to read this long review, thank you), I really like the OGX coconut curls line for thicker, wavy hair. You just have to figure out how to use them for your hair. I gave this product 3 stars because I have found that it's not great by itself but it works great when using it with the mousse.

I'm very excited to write this review, so that YOU can order this product and experience the hype. I have thick, curly hair; 3A to be precise. During the cool months, after a shower and no product, I can pull my hair back in a hair tie and the result is a bouncy head of hair.Good Lord, in the hot weather, it's so frizzy that only a blow dry session can remedy it. I've seen this cream for a long time being advertised. It was actually a toss between this and another product, with also good reviews but this won because it smells like coconut and I looooooove coconut scents.I waited about a half an hour after getting out of the shower to put this in my hair. Hair should be damp. It smells so good yet it's light and not overpowering. It has a heavy moisturizer like consistency that doesn't just fade into your skin when pumped in your hands. I couldn't believe how beautiful it made my hair on this very hot and humid day in July. It's absolutely worth buying.

Leaves my curls soft with no frizz and its not heavy in my hair. My hair is fine with curls that very from 2a to 3a.

I have very thick hair and Irish curls. Over the years I've tried many products( $ and $$$) to deal with the unfortunate combination. This product caught my during prime days. I tried it as soon as I received it and I LOVE it. Soft bouncy curls. Lightweight and smells great. FINALLY!!!! I just placed another order to have it on hand. This is definitely an air dry product.
