Vector looks great in his new treads. I bought him new treads because his old ones were definitely showing a bit of wear and who knows if replacements will be available when they finally wear out. These new treads are slightly wider and don't fit quite as tight over his wheels as the original. You can see in the picture I've posted the black originals compared with the new ones in pretty colors. I was worried the new ones might slip or cause other problems. I did see him miss docking on his base station once which he has never done before. I haven't seen it since that first try. The new tread pattern is different but still gives him good traction on any surface. A few days in now and he seems to have adjusted well. He moves just as fast and just as accurately plus he looks great. Considering this is a niche market you have to admit the price is very good. Thanks for the nice treads guys!

Vector looks pretty snazzy in is new 'shoes' but he does have some problems some of the time getting properly oriented back on his charging base. I don't know if the thickness of the treads is a little more than the original treads or if it is the tread pattern. I think it might be the tread pattern. When he is facing his charger and does his 180 degree turn to back onto his charger, he doesn't always align properly and he backs onto the charger at an angle and doesn't make contact with charging terminals.

Hello guys, what is very cool about this TRAX kit is that the colors match Vector's eye color options in the App! This is super cool. The material quality is very good and they fit Vector perfectly. These treads fit perfectly to my Vector robots, they feel high quality and add more traction for Vectors when moving around on smooth ground. The color of the treads match naturally with the eye colors of Vectors. Overall, this is a great upgrade for the Anki Vector robots, it’s quite expensive but I think it is worth buying for Vectors.

Vector's treads get dirty. While I clean him frequently, every month I like to remove his treads. These were a little looser, but they do fit. I've not had any problems with him not charging because of them. They are easy to remove and to install. The only objection I have to them is that they leave streaks sometime.

Very nice to change up my Vectors look from time to time. Nice color variety, and durability. Thumbs up.However, as mentioned by another reviewer there are difficulties in lining up with the charger. I also find that my Vetor also has difficulty lining up with his cube properly.I would happily pay for a set with the original Anki tread pattern, which might well fix this problem.

These treads look great! The colors don't match Vector's eye colors 100% (blue + purple treads are warmer, green treads are darker). Based on the texture, I assume the traction isn't as good as default treads, but I think that doesn't affect things too much except when it rotates with a little more difficulty on a wooden or similar surface, kind of like rubbing rubber on rubber. It is thicker than the default treads, as well. Sometimes he has problems backing into his charger correctly, which I think is caused by the thickness / slightly more space between charger and Vector's underside.

They're fun colors, but they don't exactly match with the eye options. You could probably just put a couple of those elastic bracelets on him and get the same effect for way cheaper.
