Beautiful Cut throat. Beginners be Patient
This is a beautiful Razor it holds well the hand it is easy to gripwhen wet.However the razor is not as sharp as I would like for it to be and I use two different leather straps to strope it with.I Am one of those people who have a really tough beard even high-priced Gillette razors only last me a week.That's why I like straight razors insteadFor the price I paid the quality of theblade how beautiful it looks its awesome razor.

Very good for the price!
The blade is a little out of alignment. Not the edge geometry, but the fit on the handle. It needs to be realigned to close properly. Not really a big issue, but it does mean that it is a little defective. The wood also seems like it could have been sealed a bit better. All in all I paid much less than I normally would for a very sharp straight razor with a fairly well made blade. Definitely worth the price.

Great product for the price, excellent first straight razor
After reading many reviews I wasn't expecting much from it. But to my surprise it works amazingly well, feels great in the hand, leaves no hair behind, and barely needs to be run over a strop before the first use. Only issue is the two wooden pieces used for the handle are a bit crooked and scratch against the blade, luckily it doesn't leave any marks and doesn't touch the edge of the blade. Comparing it to previous reviews, I might have gotten lucky

Beyond Dull
I opted for two sars instead of one, because the product seems nicely made; however, was delivered hopelessly dull and unusable. So far, no amount of honing with multiple sharpening stones has made it sharp enough to shave with. My next step is to have it professionally sharpened, which will probably cost me more than I paid for the razor. Enormously disappointing.

I'm really impressed with the quality of this straight razor, I purchased it to learn how to strop it along with a cheap strop ,but this razor looks great,well made ,heavy, scales are made of real wood,its not shave ready but it's not dull either, a used a strop and its sharp again,very happy with the purchase.
