Absolutely Wonderful Cowash!
I purposely waited a bit to write this review so that I had time to use this cowash a few times. I have to say that it is the best thing that ever happened to my hair! I will only use cowash from now on. I was afraid I would t get too many washes from the size container that it’s in, but I was wrong! I have used it 3 or 4 times so far, and I still have a lot left. I have shoulder length hair for reference. I was also afraid my hair may end up greasy from just using cowash, but boy was I wrong! My hair is clean, soft, and more manageable after using this. After using it for a while, I would say it’s a terrific value for the size of the container and how far it goes. It smells wonderful. It is just the right consistency- not too thick and not too thin. My hair is normally unruly and gets frizzy, but this cowash has helped so much! I can’t recommend it enough!

Great cowash
I’m new to the cowash game. I got this to try so I can cut down on shampooing, extend the life of my color and try to tame frizz. I’ve tried a couple different brands, but y’all. This one. It feels so silky, it does NOT weigh my hair down (I have very fine wavy hair), my hair feels clean, not oily or stripped. And the smell. Let’s talk about the smell. I want to use this all over. The scent is amazing. It’s not a strong scent, but it’s there. It smells like vacation. The scent of coconut is so light. I absolutely love this product. The only thing I would change is the container. It’s not a deal breaker for me, I can just put it in a different bottle.

Best Products For Naturally Curly/Frizzy Hair
These are the best line of hair care products that I have ever used on my naturally curly hair. I have had a lot of issues with breakage, dry damaged hair, and split ends. I was going to try Wen, but did not want to shell out that kind of money on a whim. Especially with all of the bad publicity about women's hair falling out. Every time I would previously wash and style my hair I could throw away handfuls of hair, what I could only imagine was from using too much product and dryer damage. I have followed the instructions on these products to the letter, and have gotten excellent results. My hair does not seem to be shedding or breaking outside of a reasonable amount. You first need to use the CoWash... I do not use an exorbitant amount, just enough to work through my hair comfortably. While the product is on your hair massage thoroughly with either your fingers or a wide tooth comb. Make sure you scrub your scalp to get all of the excess products out. After washing, keep your hair fairly damp. My hair is halfway down my back but not super coarse. I split my hair into two sections at the crown of my head, so I have half parted down, and the other half on top of my head. From here I work the leave-in conditioner through the bottom section. From there you add the Double Butter. I don't get too fussy about the leave-in, but I really work the Double Butter into my hair. I really try to coat every strand, and make sure that all of my curls have plenty of the moisturizer. After this step you use just enough of the Curling Jelly to work through your hair. I use about the same amount as the leave-in conditioner. I blow dry my hair because it would take entirely too long to air dry. My hair is SO soft and not frizzy at all when I am finished. I used to have to bog my hair down with copious amounts of hair gel, anti-frizz serum, and smoothing oil in order to achieve the same look. I am so excited that I discovered these products. My hair feels and looks so much healthier!I have been using these products for about 3 weeks now, and the transition was basically non-existent. My hair never went through a "weird" phase.

Nice surprise till I replaced my WEN!
I've been a WEN girl for years...The WEN from the infomercials, I've only just recently learned that that isn't the original formula and not nearly as good, but the REAL WEN isn't a Prime item and is a little more expensive unless you buy the huge 32 oz bottles, and I was out and broke, so I read all sorts of reviews till my eyes crossed and decided to risk this to see if anyone had come up with a good conditioning cleanser without the WEN prices! In this they have come close to the infomercial WEN I guess, tho WEN has more healthy ingredients, the basic formula idea is the same, and (unlike the original WEN that I've finally purchased), this and the infomercial WEN list water and cetyl and cetearyl alcohols in the first four ingredients! In the ORIGINAL WEN there are no alcohols starting out with water then Aloe Vera gel, Glycerin, then jump right in to the natural extracts starting with chamomile! So that's that...As to my hair, first, I'm white with long very fine thick straight silky hair. At the moment it's all I like about my body...Tho I wish it would hold a curl...lol we're never happy with our hair! :-D. It was hard for me to figure out whether or not this would be appropriate for me cuz a lot of the reviewers reported their "type" of hair in some code letters and numbers of which I am ignorant! So I went on descriptions as best as I could and I also love coconut and never liked the scent of the almond mint WEN I'd been using anyway, so I thought I'd pamper my nose at least if not my hair, and I personally DO enjoy the scent!Otherwise, I used the WEN instructions when I used this and made sure my hair was drenched when I started working this in. I found it easier to apply than WEN, but it's a bit less thick so it WOULD be easier. Like WEN I kept my hair wet till it was completely worked in, clipped it up on top of my head and left it in while I bathed, then rinsed again very thoroughly till my hair felt clean...this wasn't very hard since I'd applied it to very wet hair and kept adding water so it's always good and wet when I clip it up.It felt good the whole time, never oily or heavy or conversely "straw-like" as I've read reports of while reading so many cleansing conditioner reviews. And I believe that it's all in the application, in keeping the hair WET! Then it isn't such a big deal to rinse as thoroughly as is necessary.Anyway, shortly after I tried this I had a family member get very ill and had to rush 8 hours away to see him with my mom. Long and short, it's been a WEEK since I washed my hair and it's STILL clean...being summer I keep my hair tied up most of the time, but still, that's impressive. I used an argon oil hair mask in lieu of a detangler, but I'm sure that using just a bit of this as a leave in conditioner like I've always done with WEN would work fine.Tho I'm looking forward to learning how to get the most from my "new" WEN because of all the natural ingredients...But just fyi, natural doesn't always mean gentle, during my first wash with the new WEN I found it even thicker than the tv formula and so my first application was kinda heavy and harder to get in or out and since I leave it in a good while in a bath it drops down my neck in front and back and found that my skin on my neck and decolette had some pink splotches on them, so, either I've developed an allergy to something in the almond mint WEN, or WEN in general (God forbid!) Once I left the other version on for two DAYS...a deep conditioning gone crazy and my hair was SOOO soft when I finally rinsed it out that I AM a bit worried about the allergy thing....So I'm glad I know this works for me and I have it ready to go! :-) And I agree that a pump bottle would be more practical and less prone to mishaps. For NOW just keep aware of where it is and set the lid on top if you are showering to keep water out. (I'll be transferring it to an old WEN bottle!)
