I-MARTSmooth Vintage Pocket Watch with Chain (Gold)

I purhcased this to accessorize a Conductor costume. This s a cut inexpensive pocketwatch that is light in weight. I had to ask Rufus how to set the time which was not a concern, since it is being used as a costume accessory, But Rufus was very helpful, so we will see how it goes. Not sure of the battery life, since I have only used it once. It is quite and really added a touch to my costume. I question the gold so I would not use a lot of hand santizer then handle the watch.

WATCH WAS LOSING TIME AND STOPPING WHEN I GOT IT. PUT NEW BATTERY IN IT. STOPPED A COUPLE OF MORE TIMES. ALL AT ONCE IT BEGAN TO DO LIKE IT WAS SUPPOSED TO DO. KEEPS GOOD TIME AND CONTINUES TO RUN. GOOD FOR THE MONEY!!! ALSO. NICE LOOKING WATCH!!!

Purchased as a Christmas gift for a dementia patient and he just cried. Made sturdy easy to open and easy to set time. The chain is a bonus

I'm 72 years old. I've been a lawyer for 46 years. I'm not going to retire, but I think, hey, how come other dinosaurs retire and get a gold watch? And how come when they finally don't have to be on time for anything, they get the watch? That's not fair. They should get the watch for a year of good service--and help them keep coming in on time, and a fishing rod later on when they have extra time. Since I work for myself, I decided to reward myself with a gold watch, even though I’m not retiring. I’ve got other gold watches from the 1900s, but they’re not too good on keeping time. I looked for this thing, and for less than eight bucks, I thought, give it a try. It’s gorgeous, excellent and not one of those things that have crappy, embossed, decorations. It’s plain, looks like real gold, and it’s got a very nice chain, which I can put through the buttonholes of my vest as I stick the watch into the vest pocket, looking very prosperous indeed. Keeps good time, looks good, doesn’t break the bank, just what you need.

It starred to rust easily especially the long chain on it
