Doesn't work on all types of aux cables.
I ran into multiple days of troubleshooting because this product is not compatible with TRS type aux cables, only TRRS (aux/mic cables)TRS cables have two black rings on the end, and TRRS have 3. Don't buy these unless you already have a TRRS cable ready.

Poor quality
Can hear popping in the headphones, the plugs aren't lined up properly. Poor quality in general, which is a shame because the cord is actually quite nice.

This headphone jack adapter works on Pixel2 and 2XL. After connecting, you can listen to music without any settings, and the sound quality is very good. The buttons on the headphones can also be controlled normally. Full score.

JOKE OF A PRODUCT
DO NOT BUY, absolute waste of money and time, music cuts off every few seconds because of poor connectivity. I understand the whole dongle idea sucks and is inconvenient but at least develop a product that works.

Barely functional
The sound quality to use these is horrible. There is a crackling sound and both adapters disconnect when moved regardless of headphones plugged in.

Constant white noise in the background. Audio barely comes through unless it's blasting. Don't make the same mistake I did
