This speaker is absolutely a crazy gadget(full value for money). Nothing negative about this beast.(except micro usb) The battery back-up is ridiculously awesome. (full charge in 5hrs)+(12hrs playback time). The bass is great. Haven't been able to use its full volume till know as it is insanely loud. You will get a microusb cable in box ,no adapter. Height of the speaker is 18cm,and width is 7cm(highly portable). Probably you will not use it's centre playlist button unless you have an iOS phone.(deezer is not yet available in india, for android) The ways it tells the battery left is the most satisfying part of speaker.(press the volume + - button in one go) And you might also not use its charging dock as it has to be purchased externally which cost around INR4k. A simple one word for this speaker is - BEAST. Keep the usb cable carefully as other usb cable will not get inside or either they will break or bend due to the rubber flap of the speaker as it keeps pushing downward. Hope it helps. Best speaker out there. Sound clarity is top notch & the bass too good.

SOUND - is just awesome. Its even enough for house party just on these speakers. The UE BOOM application is there for both ios and android and it has inbuilt equalizer. Connectivity - range is just awesome. It works from every nook and corner of my house. Build Quality - The wraparound woven fabric grille simply looks tightly woven and looks to be of the best quality. Battery The UE Boom 3 is powered by a non-removable Lithium-Ion battery, which Ultimate Ears quotes as having a 15-hour life. I found that although it is possible for the UE Boom 3 to last up to 15 hours, it’s only if the speaker is constantly playing music at a low volume. At louder volumes the UE Boom 3 generally lasted between eight and 11 hours.

solid build quality.. good 360 degrees sound production . the quality of sound produced is great n crystal clear . it feels like a much expensive device when u hear it. the bass could have been little deeper . Bose sound link mini has way better bass than this . it's got protection like drop n water proofing can even dip it in the pool. feels very sturdy

Not at all something worth 12K. The reviews are misleading. The sound quality really feels cheap. Not loud enough, not at all punchy bass. Feels like there's no bass at all. My Amazon Echo (2nd gen) is much better than this in terms of sound quality. I tried various genres of music. It failed miserably in each of them. Really a blunder in the name of a speaker. I want to return this product and get a refund. Didn't check the battery life yet as I was disgusted with the sound quality. Will post about that soon. But even if it is 15 hours, I doubt you'll be able to listen to this for more than an hour, it's that bad. Not at all value for money. Buy any other speaker worth 5-6 K. I think that will be better than this.

Amazing product. I was a Boom 2 user before. After serving me for 2.5 years it died. The Boom 3 has improved a lot when compared to Boom 2. If you are used to the UE sound signature you won't be dissappointed in these. The battery life is amazing too. Overall a great product for the money. The cons are not a major deal breaker, This product never goes on sale. So if you want to save some money better wait for the credit card bank offers. Also it would have been real nice to see Type - C update for the speaker. It will help in future proofing.

Purchased Boom 3 after seeing lot of reviews. But not Happy with the sound quality. Both Bass and triple were average but not great as described in reviews. I returned it and bought Amazon Echo Studio (23k). It has far better sound quality. Also have advantage of Alexa. Only drawback is, it is not portable. If portability is important you can try Jbl charge 4. If music quality is important for you then try Yamaha WX-030. I feel the reviews are misguiding us. You need to play the same content in multiple speakers and listen to it before you decide.

I got it on Sale for $149 Cad$. At that price it a a great value. Works greets. Very easy to use. The app is subpar but I don’t really need it to operate. It’s not that deepest bass but that’s fine. It has great range for Bluetooth, a better battery and Still packs a good punch so very solid product overall. Also floats so if kids drop it in pool or it falls off my SUP board when in late it’s not a disaster.

Ultimate ears known for their professional in ear monitors spared no expense when it came to the boom 3 speaker. The perfect size for portability and a case that can take a bump. This speaker goes everywhere with me. The sound quality is outstanding with an app to customize the levels of bass treble etc. this speaker performs way above its price point.

I've been putting this speaker through its paces for the last few hours and I'm really impressed. Sound quality, water resistance, and build quality is all there. The app is well designed, pairing is quick and easy, and bluetooth range covers my entire apartment. It's important to understand that you're not gonna get crazy sub bass on this thing, but that's not what they're trying to do here. One thing I really have to hand it to UE for on this speaker is instead of trying to reproduce frequencies in those bottom sub ranges, they have obviously set a hard shelf on the EQ that totally eliminates those frequencies from the mix rather than try to make the small speakers in this unit try for it anyway. A lot of other bluetooth speakers I've heard fail pretty hard at that and you end up with distortion and a lot of muddiness in the low range because of it. The tradeoff is that especially low end music (namely drum and bass, dubstep, 808 heavy hip hop and trap, etc) isn't going to exactly shine on this speaker. What does sound great, though, is just about everything else that doesn't rely on sub bass. Rock, jazz, metal, most hip hop, most electronic, funk, r&b, podcasts, etc all sound really clear and have great dynamics. This speaker is also capable of going extremely loud. I couldn't get it past around 70% volume in my apartment without it being excessive, yet the music sounded totally clear and free of distortion even when I cranked it. Also, I brought it in the shower to test and it got wet without issue and dried off quickly. I just got the speaker so time will tell how reliable it is, but count me as impressed. I'm looking forward to taking this on river floats next summer. Really happy that well made, waterproof electronics are readily available now. That was by far one of the biggest selling points to me after the sound quality. They should have used USB C, that's maybe my biggest gripe, I've never cared for micro USB.
