Best on the market so far.
Excellent product in terms of manufacture and the only one that works with a "wall hung" toilet (which is one of the reasons why I purchased it). It solves the problem of bathing properly after toileting because the "back side" is open (the other reason I purchased it)........however, it could be perfected by manufacturing a urine guard that could be attached to it , as there is a gap (as with all other chairs "over toilet") between the bottom of the chair and the top of the toilet seat which allows for urine to splash out.Best on the market so far though.

Great product hopeless supplier
Good chair, well made and quite solid construction. Good range of extras available. However avoid this supplier as they completely avoided resolving my VAT refund with pointless and inaccurate messages repeatedly. Thankfully Amazon provided a refund without drama.

Makes shower time much easier and safer
I bought this for my 94 year old Dad. It has made showering him so much easier and safer. Before we had a shower chair with no wheels, supplied by the local council. The Etac chair is a massive improvement, as I can easily move Dad around in his wet room to shower him from all angles, and the open area in the base allows me to shower his lower body without the risk of having to ask him to stand up on a damp floor. Also at the end of the shower I can just wheel him straight through to his bedroom to put on his pyjamas. So much easier and safer than before, when I was having to transfer him from shower chair to walking frame to wheelchair. The only slight issues are1) The chair seat is marginally too high - it is fine when sitting down on the chair but when getting back up it is more awkward as Dad has to move to the front of the chair to allow his feet to touch the floor. But I think the lower seat size would have been too low for Dad. I have since discovered there is a version of the Etac chair which is height adjustable, but I didn't see that one available on Amazon.2) The plastic back of the chair has a pattern of cut out areas. I was finding that this was leaving a matching pattern of marks on Dad's back after showering. So I bought a soft plastic bath mat and I put this over the back of the chair to cushion Dad's skin and this seems to help.3) I have discovered that you have to be careful when wheeling from one room to another as the chair wheels can catch on the ridges on the floor in doorways and cause jolts. There is no seatbelt on the chair. The instructions I received recommend wheeling backwards through doorways.
