The perfect solution for my nearly 90-year-old mother who liked to use a box cutter to open Amazon and other packages. She has injured herself with traditional box cutters MANY times and this is MUCH easier and safer for her to use! She has no issues opening the ceramic blade and is very pleased with the fact that she can independently open boxes and cut them without the fear of hurting herself. GREAT product!!!

This is simply the best box cutter I've ever used. It's easy to hold, cuts accurately, evenly and smoothly, and best yet, doesn't cut you if you touch the blade. The lock mechanism is secure and easy to engage/disengage, and the blade stores firmly within the cutter. This is an innovative and functional box cutter with a unique design. The only drawback is that you have to use proprietary blades, one is included preloaded in the cutter, but given the benefits this is a fair tradeoff. Highly recommended.

This is an amazing tool and a great alternative to a sharp, metal blade. My elderly mom was moving and I bought this for her to open boxes with and it worked well for her. The shape makes it easy to grip, you have to push the button while holding it, but the grip and shape make that an easy task. The size is perfect for most hands, big or small. I like that you can't cut yourself with this but it cuts just as quickly and easily as a metal blade.

Works well but the blade is plastic. It easily cuts through tape to open boxes and is lightweight when holding. It can be easily stored in my tool bag for easy accessibility and the handle feels durable, but I am skeptical about the blade. I think for the value for money, I’d probably just get a regular box cutter for cheaper.

This makes opening boxes a snap, and because you retract the blade afterwards, it's much safer to store. Anyone who gets as many Amazon boxes as I do needs one of these!
