Fire vida Log Holder Black Fireside Accessory Steel Rack Stand Storage

Having read the reviews I did not expect it too be well made, and it isn't. It looks great sat on our mantel filled with wood but you have to bring the wood to it and then just use it to display, which is totally fine by me and what I expected for the price.What I did not expect however was for the feet it stands on to be so sharp that if it gets knocked slightly it scratches our natural slate hearth, and once it got knocked into the wall (cat was on a mad one) and the exposed screws on the handle damaged our plaster work... Easy enough things to cover up but worth considering!

I think the unit is very good indeed but the problem I have is that of the fourteen nuts and bolts sent to put the pieces together one of them has no nut in it just the bolt so I have thirteen nuts and fourteen bolts which makes it difficult to attach the handle! Not sure how to get just one nut to make it complete?

Handle keeps coming loose and you cannot pick it up by that when you've got wood in it. Looks nice though and keeps the wood together.

This was bigger than expected and the handle is flimsier than it should be for a big log holder. That said it looks nice enough but there are better holders on the market so shop around

Very good value for money.... just wanted it for ornamental use and I think it looks great...its not huge but does the job
