High Quality, Great Value
Don't hesitate to purchase your own mini skull model. This item is very well made from quality materials. It's beautifully detailed and very realistic. I'm an artist studying forensic reconstruction, so I was impressed with the anatomical accuracy. I bought one for desk decor, but I'll be buying more. They'll make great study tools, Halloween decor, and even gifts for the right person. The jaw is articulated and held with a strong spring. The skullcap opens/closes revealing a small cavity - the perfect size to store my AirPod pro case.

Excellent for Artists Looking for Accurate Proportion Studies
I am taking an Anatomy for Artists class at my college and wanted a model to help with my proportions homework. I was pleasantly surprised by the heft of the skull, and its joining between skull cap and the rest of the skull are quite solid without being difficult to open or examine. The details of the sculpt are excellent and clear to read. The spring in the mouth is a little stiffer than I'd like, so it keeps the jaw firmly shut, but I would have liked a bit more freedom to open the jaw and examine articulation between the joint.I did sit and measure it with a compass and it is absolutely in line with ideal proportions. It's worth your time if you're a visual and kinetic learner like me.

Excellent reference skull... could be better with a looser spring.
This is a very accurate looking hand held skull, and has a nice feel to it. It does have spots of excess plastic at a few seams, but nothing bad. I intend to use it as a reference for clay sculpting and drawing and it will work great for that. The only thing I didn't like was the massively strong spring that holds the jaw on. The mouth was difficult to open, and hard to hold open to see how it looks in different positions. I have no idea why they used such a massively strong spring, unless they were trying to mimic realistic bite forces. I actually ended up removing the spring (held in by two little screws) and replaced it with a rubber band I had laying around. It's now easy to open the jaw, although it doesn't sit as securely in its socket as before and is easy to dislocate... which I think is an added bonus. Overall a great additional to by art room.

A nice little skull
A good purchase. Over time the top of the skull has loosened up but not enough for it to just fall off, yet. The spring for the mouth is a little tight. I would prefer if the spring was replaced with a different mechanism to keep the mouth open for when I hold it with one hand.

Now I can draw all the Attack on Titan characters as Isayama intended
I got this for art, and I gotta say, this is a great skull model. I thought it was just going to be a plain skull, but the jaw actually hinges open, so you get to see how the socket actually works, which is super helpful for drawing people with open mouths.10/10. I can now draw anatomically accurate skulls from any angle. Great for drawing all my favorite dead characters lol

Anatomy and Physiology Buddy
This little skull saved me when it came to learning the different bones in the skull. Overall it is accurate, there may be a couple of holes that don't start/end in the exact spot they are supposed to. Due to the small size, it was super convenient to have hanging around so I could practice labeling. My only complaint would be that some of the "edges" haven't been fully shaved off, but that is not a huge deal to me. Not to mention it is a pretty neat desk decor.
