Not capable of sustained full power delivery
Unit burned up--literally smoked--when used to supply power to 24v battery bank through an MPPT charge controller. Unit was providing maximum power, but got too hot to touch and eventually caused a ground fault within the unit that tripped a GFI breaker. This unit may be good for supplying lower power with occasional spikes for motor startup, but did not work in my application. Also, there is a chance that the MPPT was causing an issue as it tries to match the power supplying peak power delivery which in-turn may have caused the unit to adjust to the demand, etc. as I witnessed when using a small bench top power supply.I finally opted for a dedicated battery charger...trying to use this as a cheaper DYI option failed.Do not expect to get continuous full power from this unit if that's what you need.

Power up!
I am new to this type of stuff and was easily able to figure out how it functioned and successfully powered two cisco routers with this power supply. No hiccups, seems efficient.Just waiting for the moment to accidently touch the over exposed connecting points.Real Shocker! Let's be safe and add some self engineered protection.I'd say I'm a satisfied consumer.

Power rating is waaaay off!
There is no way this thing could be rated for 600 watts. Surge capacity- maybe... It could not hold a 275-watt load continuously- would shut off randomly even in a 50-degree F room.

Deceptive description of product
I purchased this power supply to provide up to 12.5 amps of power at 48 volts just like the title and description state. The actual possible output if used occasionally is ONLY 70% MAXIMUM of what is stated. If it is for continuous duty, then it is ONLY MAXIMUM 40% of stated.When I look for a power supply, If it says it can do 600 watts output, then it should be able to do that continuously. All the power supplies need to be relabeled to be accurate. Who knows maybe next you will say you have a 20 amp power supply but say in the technical specs that it can only be used at 10% if used continuously and think that would be ok.So in short, This is not a 600 watt 12.5 amp power supply... it is only a 420 watt 8.75 amp power supply is used occasionally and a 240 watt 5 amp power supply if used continuously.This is something Amazon needs to look at as this is just deceptive and a blatant lie in the product description.
