Took off one star for description. It is not red as described...rather more orange. The buttons take a slight amount more effort to press due to being more recessed now (but I expected this and not too bad). Grip is significantly better now which is what my main want was. If it was one or two levels grippier i would be even more happy. This should work well for my wife (Ms. Dropalot)

My discontent with this product is a little like buying a horse and not liking that you need to shovel manure. That wouldn't be the fault of the person that sold you the horse, or the horse's fault... That's just the physics of things... But if you are thinking of buying this... You need to realize that it will totally change the way the remote feels and functions in your hand. You will no longer feel raised buttons.. But rather, sunken holes...the buttons will be recessed... and that is going to make it the slightest bit more alien in your hand... things won't feel quite right. It is too bad that the button side could not be a little thinner. My concern now also is that if something is spilled on the remote... with the buttons being in a hole...the hole will funnel liquids onto the button and into the space around the button...and hold the liquid in that hole... None of this is a huge problem... But still something that needs to be taken into consideration.

The cover is too thick. The buttons are now shorter than the cover, and often get stuck under the cover when I press them.

Looks great (just as pictured), feels great, and protects my fire stick as I'd hope. Only thing that could be a con for some is, it does make the buttons more recessed and a tad harder to press. But I like that- extra protection and keeps them from wearing out too soon, imo.

Fits like a glove, I bought this style because I wanted total coverage the only thing I don’t like about it is that the buttons are recessed now and requires me to push them harder, but it’s not the cover’s fault

LOVE THIS COVER!! My couch likes to "eat" things; it's a sectional, so there are little gaps between each seat that go all the way to the floor, I call them "the abyss" because if stuff falls all the way to the ground and is impossible to get out without taking the couch apart. There are 2 recliner seats, so sometimes I am able to crawl under and retrieve it if that happened to be the seat it fell through, but it was still SUCH A HASSLE and I was loosing my remote CONSTANTLY (like multiple times daily), and the last time it never resurfaced. SO, when I had to spend $30 on a replacement remote, I wanted to make sure that wouldn't happen again! This cover gives the remote just enough texture that it doesn't just slip down between the cushions anymore, and the few times that it has, the texture keeps it from falling all they way down to the bottom. Also, the cute and bright teal color makes it way more visible and easy to find as well. Have not lost it since! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I bought covers for my old fire remotes and loved them so much that I wanted to get this cover for the new one, but when it came it didn't work very well because the front is so thick on it that you can't feel the buttons to push at night. You have to look at it to see where the buttons are. I took a close look at my old covers and remotes and noticed how they had cut out around the buttons on those whice allowed them to work perfectly. I ended up taking some scissors and cutting out a big rectangle in the front so that all the buttons rise up a little bit and you can feel them with your fingers without having to look at them. It works great this way and still protects the remote all the way around, but without opening up the front, I didn't like it at all. It may not look perfect after my cut job, but now it works and I am happy with it.

I'm disabled and lack proper hand funtion and grip so i would constantly drop the remotes. With these they are easier to hold as they have good grip and fit my fire stick 4k perfectly.
