Amodex Ink & Stain Remover 1oz Bottle

This is the best material to remove tough ink stains from furniture and lobby chairs! Before I had found Amodex, I tried countless stain removers and none worked. Amodex truly works. Don't take my word for it, try it!

This stuff is amazing! I was skeptical to see if it would work on a over year old ink stain on a pair of leather and elastic Sorels. It was a huge ink explosion in bright blue covering the sole, big patch on elastic and spots on the leather! I thought they were goners and stored them away in my closet over winter. I should have taken a before photo since it was pretty gnarly but I took a chance on this and holy moly it's almost completely gone! You gotta scrub and scrub and scrub until the paper towel is no longer coming up blue but it does work!

This stuff really works. Follow the directions. Don’t make it up or do what you think you should. Do what it says and the results will almost certainly astonish you. I’ve used this product for years now. (Gave it as a stocking stuffer last year). It smells very nice too.When you use it, you may apply it and blot and scrub and think “aww gee the stain’s still there. I think it’s not working”. Then you wash the item as you would normally and…. Stain disappears. Permanent marker stains, gone! Grease, usually totally gone. Is a great product. Have no idea how it works and why it is so much better than others I have tried, but in my experience it is. And the very first time I used it I thought I’d wasted my money because working it into the garment I didn’t see any difference at all. But I went ahead and hand washed the thing with soap and water and was just amazed what happened next. Wish I had a before and after pic. I just took ink stains out of a dressy white shirt. It looks perfect now.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I had researched for a product that was designed to remove "sharpie" ink from fabric. This product was advertised as one that would do the job when nothing else would. It also claims to remove many other stains. It did not work at all, in my case. I will try it on other stains, in the future.

This product did work, but the stain did not totally go away. The blue stain on my grand daughter’s socks have a faded blue stain still.I’m anxious to use on other stains, so I feel like a reviewed too quick. I’m hopeful it will work great on future stains.

After a cottage rental, I found dark black marks across a custom-made wicker loveseat cushion. It looked like India ink or black shoe polish scribbled in thick lines. The renters claimed no knowledge of the damage, so it was hard to know what to use to try to clean it up. Researching online, I came upon this product, invented to clean printer's ink. My first try, using it with a scrub brush, did little. I added more of the solution to the fabric and painstakingly worked it in with my thumbnails...bit by bit the black was loosened. I followed it with a machine wash, as directed, and it was a remarkable recovery.

I somehow got ink on my chair, I put this on it, worked it a few times and put the cover in the wash and the ink was gone. I must say that what ever you use in on you will need to wash are be able to use water to clean it up, as it loose the ink the ink with spread and will need to be rinsed out/off

Apply a little to a stain, scrub in lightly and wait. Wash as usual. Has worked great so far!
