Very Sturdy and Seems Quite Stable. More sensible than wall-mount for me.
I'm new to big TV's. 32" is the biggest I've ever had, flatscreen or CRT. I've been content to watch on my laptop or iPad and occasionally movies on a now-considered small, flat screen in the bedroom, as I'm not into action movies, sports or other videos that need a big screen. However, my eyesight has become poorer, and didn't like the way the TV had to be on a huge table stand ruining the look of the room so it could be closer to the bed. I have a cabinet across the room, but the width is only 35". The feet that come with all lower-priced 50" or more TV's I could find wouldn't fit within its edges. There was no room to hang it on the wall, and I certainly wasn't interested in paying someone $100 or more to install it, which would also mean paying someone to move it if I wanted to change its location. I could, however, get a 55" TV delivered free in two days. No set up, but they'd bring it into the house. The TV stand I have that couldn't be used now was about $279 7 years ago. I found this very reasonable pedestal that could be used for TV's up to 65". That sounded really safe, since mine is 55". The TV only weighs 30 lb. When I opened the box I was intimidated because it comes with all the screws and bolts to fit almost any size and brand on the market. My TV had four screw holes on the back that were 16" apart. The rails (16"apart) interfere with only the RCA connectors, which I don't need. I would suggest checking the specs and layout of your TV ports carefully to be sure whatever you need is available. In my case, I only need coax and 2 HDMI ports. Ethernet would be nice, but I have a dumb TV for a reason. Sorry but I don't want Amazon or Google listening to me in my bedroom. I use a TiVo with a great remote and user interface and an Apple TV mostly for streaming from my phone, but in any case, I don't feel concerned about privacy, except of course that Comcast, my TV and internet provider, can track every program I watch and every website I visit. I put it together on the dining room table where there's plenty of room to lay out all the parts and excellent lighting. I estimated the height, more based on my perception of a safe balance to avoid having the thing fall over. I used the middle height, which works out fine. The base is made of glass. Kind of odd, but easy to keep dust-free. There are peel-and-stick rubber feet that are about large and thick enough for stability and not to mar a surface. There's enough space between the bottom of the TV frame and the cabinet top that I can put my Apple TV and TiVo, and they are both easily accessible with IR signal. TiVo makes it a somewhat smart TV ( I can get Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube, Hulu, etc. but without the awfulness of television interfaces, and I NEVER have to deal with Comcast's interface. TiVo remote will choose inputs, and has a full keyboard. I use the TV's remote only for sleep timer, and sooner or later to tweak the basic settings. Default is okay for now. But I digress. This stand is the subject. I've had it set up a little over 2 weeks. It hasn't fallen over. Seems very sturdy and balanced. I needed another person to lift and hang the TV onto the stand. It hangs on shark-fin hooks. Very simple and can be easily moved. Two people are needed for this last task unless one has extremely wide arm-span. Two normal women were able to set it up in a few moments after assembling the stand, which did take some time as we had never done it before. I gave her the extra bolts, which she will recycle. I am very happy with this. Why most televisions come with clunky, huge feet, I can only guess is to fulfill the requirements but save a lot of money. I feel I saved money by buying this stand instead of a wall mount. It also adds so much flexibility. I recommend this product. I'm not taking off for the RCA ports being unaccessible because I blame that on the TV design.

Works Perfectly!
This TV stand works perfectly for our setup! It was easy to assemble, feels very sturdy, and holds our 65-inch TV with no problem. I love that it's height adjustable—it made it easy to get the perfect viewing angle. Great quality and solid support. Highly recommend!

Great value for money, outstanding packaging makes assembly so much easier
This kit comes with the expected large number of screws, washers and various bits and bobs and an instruction sheet which shows how to assemble the stand in well detailed drawings. All the pieces are in individually labeled envelopes, no prospect of making a mistake, and there are more than enough screws of different sizes to suit all needs. A combined screwdriver and Allen key is provided too. I like that the manufacturer even apologizes if the fittings for your particular TV aren't there, because there are just too many different types of TV to supply them all. All my fittings were there, in any case. Everything fitted together perfectly and the stand itself seems strong and secure. You can put this together singlehandedly in a very short time. It supports a 55 inch TV easily and I'd recommend it for price, quality and ease of assembly.

Great stand!
Love this! I’ve had it for a few months now and it’s held up great, and feels very sturdy. I somehow lost the legs to my TV when I was moving after having it wall mounted, and couldn’t find the exact replacements. I knew I didn’t want to wall mount my TV again and this was a great compromise. I also love the size range, it means when I upgrade my tv soon, I’ll still be able to use it! Wasn’t difficult to put together at all, I’m a relatively small person and I was able to put it together and attach my TV without too much trouble (I struggled a tad bit with getting the TV on but it wasn’t nearly as frustrating as building ikea furniture). My only critique (and why I docked a star) is it’s a little difficult to move—maybe I attached it wrong, but you can’t lift it by the TV, otherwise it will lift off the stand. You have to grab it by the base, which can be a little awkward and tricky.

Very sturdy
Since I was concerned with the feet included with the TV, I wanted something more stable, especially since we have house cats. There’s no way they can bump it an knock it over.

Great stand, happily surprised
I literally just searched Amazon for the cheapest stand and found this. I wasn't expecting much but I am pleasently surprised. Glass base, plenty of height mount settings, cable management, all the screws, parts and tools you need in the box. Took 15-20m start to finish to assemble and get the tv on it. Took a little longer because I didn't read the instructions clearly and had 2 black metal washers left over when done. That's when I realized the screws that attach the base to the post have a plastic washer that goes against the bottom of the glass, then a metal washer that goes over that. So redoing that took a few minutes but was my own fault for not reading carefully. Very sturdy and looks sleek too. I mounted a 50" TCL Roku TV to it. I bought this because the feet that came with my tv were nearly 4ft apart, and the dresser I want to put it on isn't that wide. So this solved that problem nicely. Great value.
