Replacement Supply of Automated Chritmas Lights
Bought this whole package of replacement bulbs for the price of a two-pack at the local hardware store. My wife's automated Christmas string light set eats one or two of these bulbs a season. Now we are set for years - if I don't forget where I store them. (wink)

Not all of them work..
Purchased these to challenge my students to light a bulb for an experiment. Imagine my frustration (and theirs) to find they would never be able to light the bulb due to that bulb not working. I had to go through the package to find whether the bulbs were working. Found at least 12 did not work, much to my chagrin.I give these a three star rating because except for the non working ones, they fit the bill.

22 of 100 dead on arrival
Packaging was insufficient: flimsy cardboard boxes with no padding. Some genius stuffed them between a HEAVY box of 96 D-cell batteries and the outer box wall; they arrived as shown in the photo. Miraculously, none of the glass bulbs were broken.However, when I tested them, I discovered that 22 of the 100 wouldn't light at all, and several more were noticeably dimmer than they should be. Also, several of the "working" bulbs had filaments that were visibly too close to the bulb wall. Several others had messy globs of metal on their sides, which could interfere with screwing them into a socket.It's hard to be sure how many of these problems were due to insufficient packaging and how many to low-quality manufacturing; I'm suspecting some of both. Next time, I'm going with a different brand and seller.

12V Version, Works great in fiber optic lamp!
I have a fiber optic display lamp, and when the bulb went out it was really hard to find a replacement incandescent bulb. My socket measured 10VAC, and most bulbs are designed for a couple of flashlight batteries so they'd burn up in a second. This product was a great replacement for the original bulb. With 10V, it's plenty bright for what I need.

science teacher needed parts
It was exactly to the advertised specs, fit the old equipment, and cheap enough for a poor teacher to afford. The bulbs are even resistant to my students misuse and abuse.
