I have ordered four different fans for my wood stove in the past two weeks. This is the first one I ordered. It is way smaller than I imagined it would be. (I didn't pay attention to the dimensions. My bad.) Anyway - it works! It is silent, it moves the air and distributes the heat throughout the house. Since it was so small, I ordered a double fan of a different brand to try. It sounded like an angry bee buzzing around the house. Returned. Then I tried the largest fan I could find - 10" tall - and it just didn't move the air, even though it was bigger. Returned. So, then I ordered the new 2019 version of this little guy. Same brand - and it works great. However, I still think this little guy moves more air. Yes, I recommend this little fan. I have one wood stove in a 2100 sq foot house - and this little fan does the job! Definitely recommend this one!

I started a fire in a cold wood stove, and the fan started turning before the thermometer even registered the temperature going up. It helps to circulate the air even at low heat during the milder months while we’re heating the house. There’s almost no noise from it, the four blades move air well enough, the maple leaf shape is better than the weird antenna shape on most of these type of fans, and it spins nice and fast when the stove gets up to 3-400 degrees. We’ve had it for a short time so I can’t testify to its’ durability yet, but we are pleasantly impressed so far.

Total love this fan! It works soundlessly, the maple leaf design looks great and it does move quite a bit of heat.I didn't do enough research on fan size to room size so it is a little small for a 16' x 22' room. Other than myoversight, I would recommend this to anyone and would purchase another one! Great product!

Bought this after loosing power for a couple of days (had to rely on wood stove for heat after the blizzard). Once we had it a second snow storm allowed us to use this. It helped greatly moving the air around to keep the house warm. Convection alone didn't do that good a job. This is one of the quietest fans I've heard (have several friends with other types). Only had to up the TV volume by one or two clicks (someone talking on a phone requires 10 - 15 clicks for comparison).

I use the fan on a propane stove in an outside room. The first fan ran great for about 100 hours. Very quiet and fast spinning with good hot air distribution. One evening it just stopped working. I tried next evening after everything cooled down but no luck. Amazon sent a replacement and it lasted about 10 hours. My propane stove surface temperature runs about 325 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and the fans moved the hot air at a very high rpm. The fans were operating well within temperature limits. I returned 2nd fan and requested a refund. These are supposed to be new for 2019 and perhaps there are some manufacturing issues that need to be addressed. Based on my experience with both fans I cannot recommend this product.I have ordered an Ecofan AirMax. Hopefully it will be more reliable.

Did a fair amount of research before buying this fan to go on top of my Regent woodstove. My initial impression was very favorable. It was quiet, dispersed heat effectively and used no electricity. However, within a month of use it first became erratic (working inconsistently) and then stopping altogether. The warranty allowed for an immediate replacement, which is siting on my stove at this time quietly functioning beautifully, but I am leery. Will it continue working for more than a month?

this is the third type of these fans i've purchased. all 3 were different manufacturers and none lasted much more than 1 winter. 1 was partially my fault as i hit the fan with 1 of the stove lids during operation.i would just expect to buy 1 every year, maybe every other year as best from my experience.each one does move enough air to really help heat distribution in my 32x36 garage.

This is a pretty amazing product--makes literally no noise, but does distsribute the heat as advertised. The air movement could be a little more "vigorous", but is certainly adequate, I likely need a larger size for my space.
