Very recommended for dog training
We finished our dog training recently and had to buy this to continue at home, We had such an agression and behavior problem, that we reached to a point where we didn’t know what to do. This product is amazing, compared to other models of that brand. we really loved the multi function, the boost option is great for high stimulation levels when our dog drifts off chasing a fox or deciding to be opinionated. Light and sound that can train the dog to respond without correction, or locate in the dark, this was a game changer. The battery life and distance is highly improved and the design is elegant and smooth. The weight feels a bit higher but the overall the collar is strong, very good and recommended by multiple dog trainers. very easy to use, we hesitated about learning the product and it’s very user friendly! Very important to watch over the safety measures and make sure you get a proper trainer to walk you through it with your dog. We are very satisfied with this product and the seller. New package, sealed perfectly and perfect condition. Arrived in no time, and no problems at all. Very appreciated!

3x Dogtra Purchaser
I have a 10-year-old Newfoundland who was professionally trained, and our trainer recommended the Dogtra brand years ago. As my first dog, I was especially concerned about ensuring reliable boundary awareness and obedience. This system proved to be an excellent solution. At the time, my HOA did not allow fencing, so I needed a dependable way to maintain clear boundaries, and it worked extremely well (which obviously is dependent on effective owner training and compliance as well). I appreciate the precise, incremental level adjustments, as well as the range of sensory options (sound, vibration, visual cues, etc.). In my experience, having multiple, gradated ways to engage a dog’s sensory system leads to more effective and humane training. For context, I am a doctoral-level behaviorist working with humans, and I value tools that prioritize clarity, consistency, and flexibility in behavioral learning. 😊

Worth the money!
This collar is legit! I have a professional barking dog who is insane. I have tried the dogtra regular collar for barking and it did not work, He’s too smart. This collar I can control with a nik or constant the minute he barks. He still tries but just one time and peaceful after that. Of course this will only work for barking if you are home. But thats all I needed. Expensive but when a product works then it’s worth the money.

This ish WORKS!!!!
Being the owner/parent of an EXTREMELY intelligent and stubborn adolescent 100+lbs Cane Corso pup (1 year old), I was unfortunately on the verge of rehoming. He was super anxious, high energy no matter how much I walked, ran, jogged.. Ever hear “A tired dog is a happy dog?” Well this dog NEVER GOT TIRED! It was genetic mental crap fest. He had separation anxiety, cried and chewed, and chewed and cried. I work from home and he would literally chew and cry 2 feet from me! I read books, watched vids, and purchased 6; you heard that right, SIX different e-collars. My dog easily figured out ways to deal with the static correction and essentially failed to correlate the correction to bad behavior. Two dog trainers later I was encouraged to purchase the Dogtra collar. With hopes dwindling along with my patience and funds (dog trainers aren’t cheap ppl), I took a leap of faith. Well I’ve been flying ever since and haven’t looked back. Now for you dog parents out there that shun e-collars as cruel torture devices… why are you reading this? I’m not here to sell you butterflies and rainbows… if you crank this bad boy up to the max (which I could never imagine being appropriate) I am pretty sure you will have a taser on your hands. That’s not the point. Finding a level where your dog is uncomfortable with the stimulation enough to decide “I think I should not do this” is the point. That sweet spot for me is 30-35 depending on the distraction level (this thing goes to 127!). Now with other sport dog collars my boy never flinched, never responded, just plain old kept the show going. But Dogtra came and changed the game. Now I have a dog that gets rewarded constantly, spends more time doing what he loves, is a great car, movie night, and small child companion, and isn’t looking for mischief because I have established boundaries and he knows that “No” means “No”… that is the point after all. FYI - THIS DEVICE HAS NO WARNING BEEP! Use your words people! As doggie parents you can’t out run a dog determined to run after a cat, dog, squirrel, deer, etc. but this device gives you Thor like powers to reach across that yard and refocus their behavior back on you when YOU CALL THEM, not the beep…THAT IS THE POINT… Now on to EASE OF USE: charges fully in under 2 hours. It holds a charge for at least a couple days or more. Directions are straight forward, comes with a handy lanyard so you can walk/jog the park without your pockets sagging. As a woman this is great. Excellent range and has a nice led on both the collar and remote that indicates a low battery- excellent. Comes with a dual plug to charge both devices at the same time (Dogtra you truly thought this through *smile)… the whole package comes in a super nice almost gun like case for long term storage for when your doggo graduates to listening to just YOUR WORDS and you can put it away… I’ve dropped the remote plenty of times, my dog scratches, shakes, and roles all over the collar and it has held fast just fine - super durable! The collar fits him comfortably and doesn’t dig in. You can feel the quality of this kit the moment you open it. It’s everything they say it is when you use it properly. No issues here! If you are like me and have a stubborn adolescent dog that shed it’s adorable angelic puppy qualities and has tested your heart strings, get a reputable trainer to train YOUR behavior and this collar to establish the boundaries for your pup! All dogs are good dogs, can’t say the same for ppl tho! Lol!

A training collar that is intuitive and works beautifully.
I love this collar so much, I bought a second one for our adolescent cane corso. It has worked beautifully for our two very high drive dogs. They learned very quickly to answer to the page, but on occasion we have to use the correction. I really did not care for the way the buttons were organized on the multi-dog units. I preferred this unit immensely and just carry two handheld controls. I cannot say enough good things about this training collar. My dogs are 65 and 85 pounds and they are not too bulky - nice size.

Good product
As a new user I would like symbols to tell me what the buttons do.

very useful, very durable
Requires practice, but extremely effective and useful. Not the simplest to use but the 3 different controls are very useful. I use pager function to call dog back, nick to stimulate compliance and continuous for situations were the dog or other people are in danger. The hands free button is awesome. Again it takes time to train yourself, like everything in life. My wife has difficulty training herself to become competent with it. The receiver is regularly in salt water and I just rinse both the controller and receiver afterwards. So far, no issues. I've only used it since February 2020. Our 75 lbs dog has very short hair and we had to get some after market contact points that distribute contact to 4 points, which stopped tearing his skin. I think we had to increase the voltage though, with the aftermarket points. Our dog wears the collar about 7 hours per day and the unit holds charge for at least 2 days, charges very fast, about 2 hours. I've never had the unit die on me yet. Update 3/26/2021: Product continues to work despite regular weekly saltwater exposure (rinse with fresh water after). It seems like the battery life is shorter now, but works all day still (9hrs, although dog is obedient now, requires less stim, usually a motion towards the transmitter=compliance).

Defective product with bad customer service!
DO NOT BUY! I never give reviews let alone bad ones but this product and their customer service is terrible. I would give zero star if I could. We bought this in July (6 months ago) and the button is broken (you can’t pair it) and all the paint is scratched (black ops is their expensive limited edition). We are not hunters and service personnel and don’t use this often let alone run it through harsh conditions. It has never even gotten wet! We use this solely to train our German shepherd puppy. Dogtra (which I thought was a reputable brand) advertise this to be rugged and this is completely false. We contacted customer service (and provided pictures) and they told us that their warranty doesn’t cover this and that repairs start at $45. Are you kidding me? This is their top of the line model that costs over $300 that lasts 6 months? Any other company would warranty their defects. I should have gotten an Educater instead. Much better company and product that’s less expensive.
