Solid replacement, headache removing old pin
Good luck getting the old one out on your Jeep Cherokee never wanted to rip the door off a car before but taking the old pin out sucked. The new pin fit fine and fixed my door sag and door squeak but unless you have a Dremel or a lot of patience fixing your door pin is gonna be a headache. The parts amazing quality held together fine through winter just trying to get the old ine removed is the issue.

Worked great on my XJ tight fit

Works great, hard to install, but be patient! Still a bit of door wobble.
I bought a pair of these to replace the door pins on my brother's 2000 Jeep XJ Cherokee as his door was sagging pretty bad, causing a bad seal when the door is closed and creates a lot of wind noise. To install these, I watched youtube videos and read amazon comments, and I found the best way to install them was using a dremel to cut the original pins out. I then used a long flat screwdriver to get them entirely out. Putting them in was just as bad. They have to go in from the bottom, but then there are also these little metal bushings that go in between the door and the body hinge. You have to maneuver the door in a lot of weird ways. Take care not to damage the door paint while doing this. I actually could not get the pins all the way to the point where I could get the c clips on, so I had to use my bench grinder and grind down the little nurels towards the end of the head which let it sit all the way in. Once I had it all installed, the door was a lot better. Still a little bit of up and down wobble when you force it, but it doesn't sag when you open the door and the door seals 100% better. Worth all of the effort! BE patient!!!

Too large to fit 2000 Jeep Cherokee
I give it 5 stars for its build quality. Other than that, it absolutely will not work on a 2000 Jeep Cherokee. The pin diameter is too large to fit in the holes in the door hinge. The fit chart said it was a match but it definitely is not.

Worth it, but difficult.
Replaced the door pins and bushings on 2001 Jeep Cherokee. This is not an easy task, takes lots of patience and skill. There are videos of this on YouTube . Support the door on the bottom with a jack stand and a rag or cardboard on it , if you have a roof rack also put a 2 x 4 through the roof rack sticking out above the door, with the window open wrap the top of the door with a rag and then using a rope or a bungee cord nice and tight and hang it. You have to drill the old pins in half, the knockout the top and the bottom pin halfs out, do both upper and lower hinges at the same time, pull the door away from the hinges smash the bushings remove them then install the new bushings, Slide the door back into place then and only then place the plastic piece between the hinge ears, now I ground down the nurdle area at the top of the pen to make it easier to slide into position don't grind it all off! Tap pins into place and installed e-clip. Happy camper!

A necessary evil -
The worst job for an XJ to date! But they work and take a lot of time to get them seated so you can get the retainer clip in. There are a million ways to install these. I was able to go from the top on the top hinge, where most don't. Make sure you use some grease and patience - you are in for a ride

Pain to install. Need to modify to fit
Like most people I had to partially grind down the knurled portion to get them to go in fully so you could get the clip on. Still has some up and down play in the door but they don't drop off the strikers like the old ones.

These replacement hinge pins work great. This was much easier than having to replace the complete hinge as that is all the dealership offers.

Worked just fine but the shims are super flimsy.

Product holds my doors in. However was unable to get the pin all the way through the doors jam and therefor was unable to use the e-clips to hold the pins in place. I believe this is due to the splines that are supposed to hold the pin to the washers.

Works alright but almost impossible to get the pin all the way into the hing. Definitely didn't need to put any keeper on this one.
