Hershey's Special Dark Minis, 48 Ounce

These Hershey’s chocolate minis are absolutely delicious and the perfect way to satisfy my sweet tooth without overdoing it. Only 150 calories for four pieces, so they make a great low-calorie snack! I pack two in my lunch every day for a little midday treat.

When I ordered this I read that it would be delivered in 2-3 days. After the order was placed I received notice that delivery would not take place for nearly two weeks. As this was melt-able chocolate I was disappointed and apprehensive. Other reviewers complained that their candies had melted into a blob. My order arrived today on the first day of the delivery window. It was the third day of the first heat wave of the summer -- over 100 degrees here. But the chocolates I opened a few minutes ago were not melted. A bit soft but not liquid. Just popped them in the freezer to firm up. Since it it impossible to know for certain what weather conditions will be two weeks after placing an order such as this one, I will not order these again before November nor after April to be sure no risk of melting occurs. In terms of quality, some of these chocolate candies to not melt in the mouth. They soften somewhat though. The chocolate flavor is not couverture level but then I don't know of any Hershey's products that are.

It's chocolate. Darker than regular, still has some sweetness. Kind of like a "hot" sandwich from a fast food chain.

Most all the dark chocolate bars were melted and glued to the wrappers. Some actually had mold on them.

These are just right size for candy dish and they are dark chocolate.
