A Comparison Of Five Great Password Books.............. See Photos~
This past Christmas I decided to give password books with gifts for friends and family members. I've found my own to be super useful and am writing this review to share a comparison of the ones I purchased here on Amazon.I'm uploading some photos that will tell you more than my words here do. Below are links for the books, in the same order they are laid out in the first photo I'm posting.Book #1 is the red one I personally own and love, (this one is not currently available here but for comparisons, this is it) The Personal Internet Address & Password Logbook - Red If you want to read my review with more detailed photos, you can do so here, http://www.amazon.com/review/R35K16WUNGUFH6/ref=cm_cr_rdp_perm?ie=UTF8&ASIN=1441308148Book #2 is similar to my own and is currently available here, The Personal Internet Address & Password Log Book (Like mine, it has cut out tabs in the pages, two letters per tab.)Book #3 is the smaller but thicker, spiral bound, white book, BookFactory® Password Journal / Password Diary / Mini Pocket Passwords Notebook, 120 Pages - 3 1/2" x 5 1/4", Durable Thick Translucent Cover, High Quality Wire-O Binding (JOU-120-MCW-A-(Password)) (This one is handy if you want the ability to hold it in one hand while writing on either side. The others will only open like a regular book.)Book #4 is the larger book with a bright geometric cover, Password Journal: Password Keeper / Music Gifts ( Internet Address Logbook / Diary / Notebook ) (Password Journals - Music (Carnvial)) (This one has noticeably lighter ink inside but definitely stands out on a bookshelf.)Book #5 is the larger black book with butterflies on it, Password Log: (An Internet Address and Password Journal) (I like that the ink is printed nice and dark so I gifted this one to my mom since her eyesight is not what it used to be.)I'd say the first two have the best covers in terms of long range durability. I like the tabs but you might not if you don't like the idea of them being two letters at a time. I think all five have nice paper. Hopefully the photos give you a good idea for size and comparison of features.Lastly, I'll recommend some pencils. Since passwords can change, it makes sense to write in these books in pencil. These ones write well and erase easier than others I've used (funny as that sounds), Bic Xtra Fun Ultra Solid Break Resistant #2 Pencils (8 Count) I'd recommend all of these password books. Numbers 2, 3, & 5 I'd say are the best choices (beyond that I think it depends on current pricing, your handwriting size, and overall preferences). Buy with confidence! Smile. Hope this is helpful!

You get double the use out of the larger size
I previously used the 5 x 7 version of this password journal, but "outgrew" it when I had too many entries to put under certain letters and found myself inserting sticky notes instead. I tried another type but did not like it as much, so I came back to this one but ordered it in the larger size (8.5 x 11). Under the old 5 x 7 format, I only got 8 entries per letter (4 pages @ 2 entries each page) but with the larger format, I get 16 entries per letter (4 pages @ 4 entries per page). I can see myself using this one for a long time to come, and am happy to support a veteran-owned business.

Handy, But Insufficient
Pros: Clean modern design. Sturdy frosted plastic cover, front and back. Spiral binding is good quality. Notes section at the bottom of each page is very useful. Easy to locate in a desk drawer with the asterisks, and doesn't blatantly advertise "PASSWORDS!" on the cover like some others.Cons: Too many lines allocated for multiple passwords for one site (6 lines?!) when those would have been better used for the notes section. But here's where the two stars disappeared to: there are not enough pages per letter to enter your information, and the numbers of pages are inconsistent. There are only 4 entries for "E," while "T" has 6. Yes, I know "T" is a letter used quite often, but that doesn't necessarily apply to websites; mostly Scrabble and Wheel of Fortune. And, considering that so many things online are considered "e-something," you'd think there might be more pages for that. Yes, I saw that the book has 120 pages, so I'm not sure exactly what I WAS expecting, but if I don't have enough room for all of my accounts and passwords and usernames, what good is it? Do I really want to have to buy a second book so I can get a start on my trilogy?Basically, this is a really useful item. It's really good for someone who doesn't use the Internet for almost everything. I can't see how I would have any more different accounts than most other people these days, so I don't think I'm being too harsh or - I don't know. Maybe I am. But I have the same gripe about this as I do with the pockets of women's jeans: why can't they just be big enough to be useful?

Perfect!
This was exactly what I wanted. The book has a heavy plastic cover and heavy-duty wire binding. The paper is good quality, although my favorite gel pens did have some bleed-through. I'd recommend ballpoint or pencil. The entries have wide spaces, with room for website, email, username, password, and notes (which is perfect for noting the answers to those security questions... What's your favorite ice cream flavor? I don't remember what I answered a year ago!). The password section has a good number of extra lines, for those sites that make you change your password with annoying frequency. If you are considering this password book (which I'm guessing you are), please note that the official product photos show only the smallest book size, with just one website per page. I ordered the large 8 1/2 x 11 size. It has 4 websites per page. I've attached a photo so you can see the actual layout that the largest book has.

Don’t waste your money!!
Complete waste of money. It looks fantastic but so, so small. For example, you will only get between 4 to 6 entries under per the corresponding letter. £9.99 was such a waste of money. So disappointed!!

Good. Would be better with thumb indents.
It's a nice book - would like the alphabetical pages to be indented though not just cut the same size so that I can find the sections more easily.
