Excellent product for any car without them built in
Excellent product for any car without them built in. It is easy for me to monitor form my smart phone without getting my hands dirty.

Three Stars
I'm surprised that the battery in the sensors are showing needing replacing after one week.

Works extremely well, and is an excellent alternative to a built-in TPMS system.
I've had this set on my 991 (which came without TPMS) for some one and a half years. It's excellent. It's very easy to set up, pair and use. I bought it direct from Fobo after their crowd-funding campaign ended.Batteries in the sensors last about 5-6 months, and then they are very easy to replace. The smartphone app (I use the IOS app on an IPhone) gets an reading of pressure and temperature from each wheel every few seconds, and the in-car box monitors pressures the rest of the time when you're not using the app. Both sensors and box seem to wake up within a few seconds of using the car. I've actually placed the box in the door pocket, so the opening of the door for me to get in wakes it up. It does a reassuring beep and 4-wheel check every time it wakes up so you always know it's on and pressures are ok,You configure everything from the app - that's registering new sensors, rotating sensors, disabling sensors (e.g. if a tire blows and the alarm goes nuts - which happened to me), setting target pressures (separate settings for front and rear), setting alerting thresholds (don't forget that temperature affects the pressure - so you need to allow for a range above and below your target setting), registering multiple cars, etcThe pressure readings themselves seem to match well with the gauges on my two pumps when taken with cold tires - with an allowance for ambient temperature. Accuracy seems to be +/- 0.4 psi. Screwing the sensors on and off seems to lose you only a minuscule amount of air (they seal very quickly - much more than the pump does). If you get the right color - the sensors come in silver or black - which match your wheel color they are also 'fairly' discreet. The kit also comes with these lock nuts and a special plastic lock/unlock tool. If you use the lock nuts it's impossible to take the sensors off without ripping the valves out, so it's fairly secure.Over the year and a half, on different wheels (I have a summer 20" and a winter 19" set) they have been extremely reliable! Only once did a have a sensor that started playing up intermittently, and changing its battery cured the issues. In fact I would say that the only 'negative' is that the sensors' battery life indicator in the app is not very reliable. So now I just change all 4 together every 5-6 months irrespective of what the 'gauges' in the app are showing. All in all, very pleased with them!

Far from perfect.
A great idea, poorly executed, the app makes no allowance for pressure changes caused by temperature changes resulting in frequent false alarms. Also the fitting prevents manually checking the pressure.Have reluctantly returned the product and await an improved version.
