Small size, big sound, easy to use.
After fighting for a couple of years with the music feature of my Garmin 654m and AfterShokz headphones, I considered replacing the watch with the latest Garmin music model. But the tracking features that I use on the watch (running, biking, kayaking) work very well. The problem was that the connection between the watch and my headphones would drop, usually during a run. The only way to reestablish the link was to power down both devices, which during a run is annoying at best. I wanted a device that would sync my Spotify Premium account, as that is what I use for my playlists. I was pleased to find the Mighty Vibe that has such a feature. And at less than $100, much less expensive than replacing the whole watch. I received the unit, charged it, loaded the app on my (Android) mobile phone and connected easily. I synced several playlists to the unit after linking it to my Spotify account. The only issue I encountered was a bit of trouble getting the headphones to connect. I think this is more of an issue with the AfterShokz BT implementation though, as I had issues on other devices with these. Resetting the headphones, and being patient, allowed them to connect. Battery life is okay for the unit. I have taken it on two outings, playing around 60-90 minutes of music, and it shows 40% battery left at the end. I normally will not run longer than 60-90 minutes at a time, so for me this is sufficient. If you run for longer distances, this unit may not last your entire run. Sound is great, interface is easy to use, even clipped to my pocket. You can do all the things that are needed to skip or replay songs, change playlists, up/down the volume, etc. The unit is supposed to be rain and sweat resistant, but one feature that would have been nice to include would be a cover for the charging port to keep out any extra moisture. I have burned through many "sweat-proof" devices, so keeping as much liquid out of it as possible is my goal. I will find some plug to put in there probably. The app is good, not a lot of options needed. I don't see a way to rearrange your playlists without deleting them and adding them back in the order you want. You also cannot sync individual songs from a playlist, not a big deal for me. It does support all of your playlist items including the "Made for You" lists, plus podcasts, etc. You can resync all or a select number of playlists if needed. Sometimes the number of synced songs is not the same as the total number in your playlist. It is explained that Spotify sometimes restricts songs from being externally synced. So far, I am sold on this unit. I hope it holds up during the summer months. I bought the inexpensive extended replacement warranty just in case if it doesn't.

Bricked after just 5 runs (as did the replacement)
I bought Mighty as a replacement for my waterproofed ipod shuffle that died after almost 5 years. I shelled out $200 for that device due to having a graveyard of ipod shuffles that died from sweat or the odd unexpected rain storm. Looking around after 5 years, there was really a lack of lightweight and sweat resistant devices, but the Mighty looked like the perfect option so decided to roll with it. The Mighty was received quickly and was easy to setup / link to spotify / and add playlists. It doesn't come with headphones, but I had plenty lying around already from old ipods, iphones, etc so I was up and running in no time. The battery life was pretty short, but I planned on charging it after each run or two, so that wasn't really a deterrent for me. The issue occurred after just 5 runs when the device bricked. Running in the heat of Florida, it was exposed to some sweat, but it was never saturated or anything much worse than you see in their photos. I contacted Support and it took them about 3-4 days for them to respond each time. They required multiple videos showing the device would not charge or turn on and finally after about 3-4 emails back and forth, they confirmed the device was defective and were willing to replace it for me. Unfortunately, I have a toddler who loves finding things and hiding them. She especially loved the bricked mighty that was sitting around for multiple weeks while I was corresponding with Mighty Support. Needless to say, she's found a very good hiding place for it and I can't send in the device to be replaced - ouch. I'm sure I'll find the bricked device in a year or so when randomly cleaning somewhere. Despite the device dying within 2 weeks and only 5 runs, I may still consider buying another one. It was easy to use, lightweight, clipped on, and the spotify syncing ability was great. If doing so, I would certainly get a case for it to protect it from all elements because it doesn't appear to be as sweat or water resistant as stated. I may also switch to bluetooth headphones and tightly seal the headphone jack to ensure no sweat, dirt, or water gets in there. Finally, I would promptly dry and clean after each use. Obviously all of that is inconvenient, but in a market where there's not many strong competitors to this exact device, it is worthwhile for me. Or I may just have to shell out $200-220 for another waterproofed ipod shuffle and see if I can get another 5 years out of it. UPDATE (moved from 2->3 Stars): Customer Service has informed me they will still send me a new device with instructions to clean the headphone jack with a cotton swab after each run. I appreciate them still sending me one even though I lost the bricked device. Will try cleaning it after each run and see if this one can last longer. UPDATE 2 (moved from 3 -> 1 Stars): The new mighty arrived. I wiped it down and cleaned the inside of the headphone jack after every run. It still bricked after only 2 weeks. This thing is junk and can not handle anything beyond a single spec of water or sweat. Have now requested a full refund and will not be purchasing another Mighty until a new version is released and they can ensure it is water resistant and can last longer than 2 weeks.

Not perfect, but good enough.
So I got this to listen to music when I run so I don't have to lug around my phone. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and really don't have any major complaints. I have a Pixel 2 and connect it to AfterShokz OpenMove bone conduction headphones. The Android app is adequate - not the most intuitive interface, but certainly usable. I find that the device tends to not connect to wifi automatically, so when I want to sync new playlists or refresh my current ones, I have to make sure to tap the wifi tab and connect it first. The only other issue I ran into is that it doesn't play well with other devices if you're trying to connect multiple devices to your headphones. I made the mistake of connecting my headphones to my phone and ended up spending 10+ minutes trying to reconnect the Mighty to the headphones the next time I tried to use it. Sound quality has been fine. The tiny bluetooth speaker does occasionally have blips, but if you wait a few seconds it will restore connection and sound fine. I clip it on my pocket while running and don't have any problems. Overall, this device has been perfect for my needs and I can definitely live with the few shortcomings.

It looks great, like it will replace my beloved yet discontinued apple shuffle. Not much else out there that appears to compete. But it is just trouble, slow, not user friendly, I had to buy a Spotify prime membership to just listen to a podcast. No, just no. And after 30min+ of trying to set it up and to sync the podcasts via 2 different apps and connect to earphones and sign up to Spotify and who knows what else. I gave up and asked to return. No thanks, I’ll go for an Apple Watch.

Jammer, dat ik hiervoor geld heb uitgegeven voor een product dat niet werkt.

Good device and sustainability. only down side is that it needs to activly refresh every two weeks or so and until you do you cannot use it
