Dull and heavy.

I've had this knife for a year and it works great. Bought a second one for a gift! Great value!

This knife is very sharp and the handle is very well designed.

Sharp and economical.

Looks like nobody is willing to post a detailed & honest review of this knife so I guess that duty falls on my shoulders..?1 - from the factory this knife has an edge that is closer to a chisel than a high end knife such as a Japanese Gyuto.2 - the steel is not 440 stainless, I would guess closer to 420.3 - the edge will sharpen up nicely if you know how to do it right4 - don't expect it to hold an edge for very long however, it does hone up easily to get sharp again. - J
