Venom Pro Duo 80W X2 Dual issue - Venom has your back!
This is my review of the Venom Pro Duo 80W X2 Dual. Purchased in May of 2019 and channel two stopped working by the end of June 2019. Was not a happy camper. After reporting the issue to Venom, they sent me a new charger! So end game is this: Chargers under $100 ish are very cheap. However when you have an awesome company like Venom that has your back, you can buy with confidence. Thanks Venom for standing behind what you sell!

this duo charger dose not come with duo charging cables
i bought this charger to charge two packs at a time. this unit comes with 9 adaptors no two alike. if you have a rc that runs on two packs this is not the charger you want.

It's a charger. It works. Honestly what more do you people need?
Venom has always been a good brand for chargers I personally trust. I recently bought an E Revo 2.0 so I came to need a charger capable of charging two batteries at once. Something that my Venom Pro 3 couldn't do. This charger can do it. Fit and finish looks good, it's very light for what it is. Seems easy enough to navigate. Another reviewer said it didn't come with two of the same plug. They aren't wrong, but here on Amazon the Venom charger plugs are $7 each at the time of this review. You won't find a more reliable, easy to use charger capable of charging two batteries at the same time in this price range.

Make sure it comes with the cable adaptor you need for your job. Unplug.the unit when you are done,
Real nice unit. It took a little time and reading to get it working. Looks great and easy to transport. I was looking around the unit and I could not find a power switch. I am sure it must have an automatic timer switch. Being a two port charger I feel it should have two set of cables. A couple are doubled but not all. Of course, the one adapotor I needed did not have a double in the box. I had to order adaptors already before my first battery charging.I know they're coming out with smaller Digital chargers and they claim it works better, fast exc. I like this hands on style. It gives the user better/finer control.

your not done buying cables if you fly quads or drones
was all excited to leard how to operate this overly complicated charger , to discovering that out of all the adapter cords this came with , that mine was not included . Not to mention if it were included it would have only been one so it says dual but they dont give you everything to have two batt going at once ..

A solid little charger
I purchased this because my htrc t240 duo charger crapped out after charging around 25 packs. This charger is not as big as the pictures make it seem. It stands around 6 or 7 inches tall and then it's probably 5 inches long and 4 inches wide. The buttons take a little while to get used to when going through settings, I wish they had labeled them in a more logical way. Also, it beeps pretty loud when going through settings, I turned that off right away.Otherwise, it does exactly what you'd expect. I use it for lipos for my rc cars and it does a great job.I've included a pic of everything that comes in the box. One thing to take note of it that you don't get 2 copies of any one type of battery connector. I use xt90s so I ordered a 2 pack on Amazon for about $10.

Storage charge on here is useless
All my other chargers can go rundown batteries to a storage charge, and they will do it at whatever amperage i say when charging. Now when discharging they of course have to be slower to fit withing the limits of the discharge circuit. This charger however wil not charge a low battery to storage at full speed. It will keep you at 1 amp or less even if charging to storage voltage like after a day of bashing and you want to store your bats for next weekend. Its idiotic, unless im missing something.

Essential Versatility
As a first time buyer and user of an rc battery charger, I definitely found this this one less than intuitive. The operating manual is very small, and the flow charts are practically UNREADABLE even while wearing my reading cheaters. The overall quality of the build seems very nice, but only time will tell for its durability. It should meet my needs for quite some time. SO far I am only using 3S batteries with EC3 connectors.I will search for a downloadable user manual so that I can print the flow charts on larger papers.
