We used these for fingerprint stamps at our wedding and it worked perfectly. Color is spot on and washed off with baby wipes.

Worked well with the protect! It was SO EASY to clean off the toddler’s hands. My only complaint is that there wasn’t enough ink in the pad. It almost felt “dried out” after a couple of hand prints.

Not great for dog paws
I got this for my dogs paws. I realize this is bad for humans. The pad itself was a little bit too small to use on the dogs paw even though I still did . The biggest issue is that the pad wad a lot drier than the other one I had bought from a different company. I wasn’t able to get a good paw prints from it because it was so dry. Ended up adding water to the dogs, paw and ultimately the pad itself. Still wasn’t ideal

Far smaller, far messier. Not worth it.
This thing is smaller than a post-it note. My baby's hand and foot didn't fit on it at all and the shape makes it hard to stamp over a hand or foot to get it fully inked, even with a sleeping baby. I wish the pictures weren't so inaccurate, I wouldn't have bought it if I'd known how very small it was. Too late to return it. Spare yourself, go for one of the bigger ink pads. This was also way, wayyyyy messier than it says. It does not clean up with baby wipes, I had to actually put the baby in the tub when he woke up and scrub his hand. If I'm going to have to do that, I might as well have bought a standard ink stamp pad that would have been a larger, more useful size as well.
