Great Product
I love calligraphy. Very hard to master but it’s worth the practice. Great product! I bought another one for a friend.

Not All Are Defective, But Mine Was
The ink doesn’t leave the pen unless you push with such force that tears paper and bends the prongs. I have a student that has this pen and loves it—so I wanted one of my own. But I do believe mine is faulty, as they are the exact same pen. Very disappointed in my own purchase, but I can tell you that I believe mine was defective as my student’s pen worked great!

It's not that simple. Get more instruction books.
This is just barely an okay kit for beginners. You will need to order ink cartridges or refill ink supplies soon after beginning.I received three different, essentially, narrow-sized nibs and one plastic barrel with cap to place them in. A way of cleaning and storing these supplies will need to be found. Plus, 2 black, 1 violet, 1 blue and 2 red ink cartridges.Read the entire instruction booklet and note the preparations, following these instructions will make the process easier and more enjoyable.Be aware that the cartridges are difficult to load; care and strength are needed. Do squeeze the cartridge after loading it to 'prime' the nib; not too much, but you should feel a bit of suction upon release.The nibs will need careful cleaning in-between cartridges, or they will clog.Get a pad of tracing paper and one of ruled calligraphy paper for practice and to choose writing styles, ink colors and nib widths.

Mucho contenido muy interesante en poco espacio.
Me gusta el formato pequeño del libro. Tal vez la caja es demasiado grande pero esta bien. Libro con explicaciones muy claras, ideal para mi, que soy principiante.

Pen does not write
Highly disappointed. I’ve had the ink loaded in the pen for days and the pen still won’t write. There’s no directions on how to make the pen write or how to properly load the pen. I was also expecting to have some extra sheets in the book to practice and there are none. Very disssapointed for $20. I should’ve read the views beforehand...

I guess you get what you pay for
The pen and package looks great but I could only get 1 nib of the 4 to work.
