Excellent base to start with
For a perfect, simple NY style pizza sauce, mix one can of this with two cans of Saporito Filleto di Pomi. It thins it down to the perfect consistency. It makes a lot but you can freeze it.

Very good
I love EXTRA SAUCE on my pizza and this is perfect, because its so thick, it doesnt run off the sides or make the pizza soggy. I didnt dilute it at all.

Feed a large group with this sauce.
When I received this can I checked the expiration date. I didn't recognize the numbers so I called the company to help me with the date. She was very helpful and told me I had one year to eat it all up. Anyway this stuff is very very thick. I added water so I could stir it and spread it on the pizza dough. It was ok, but I didn't realize it had basil in it, it was listed on the can which I didn't order.
