nice little optic. a little heavy and bigger than your average red dot but prism optics offer their fair share of advantages. This one gets real bright on both red and green illumination. So far its stood up to both 00 buck and 1 oz slugs out of my saiga. no real complaints other than i wished they offered this optic with a low mount. great optic for the price. keep it up, Athlon

I can’t use red dots due to an astigmatism so I’ve patiently been researching prism optics as an alternative. A quality prism scope will be relatively expensive but the ability to see a clear reticle is paramount to any shooter. Whether the Athlon’s etched reticle is lit or not, it provides an impressive and useful tool to acquire both short and long range targets.My eyes aren’t good enough to tell me this is inferior to much pricier options. I imagine elite shooters can tell the difference but it looks good enough to me. Ultimately, it was Athlon’s lifetime warranty that sold me on this optic.

I also bought this because of astigmatism and inability to use a standard red dot sight. This thing works great for me. It was easy to zero and has held zero through many occasions of being tossed in the trunk to go to the range. It's a bit lighter than other 1x prism scopes I had considered. The resettable turrets are a nice feature too.

Excellent clarity. Solid mount. Easy to zero and turrets are easy to remark at zero once you get it dialed in. Much better reticle than Vortex IMO. Couldn't ask for more. Lens caps are cheap but they stay put unlike the Vortex.
