Q: WHAT TAPE SHOULD I USE FOR LIFTING BLOCKS?

The most common tape used to secure lifting blocks in rugby is 7.5CM TEAR EAB. The jumpers use this tape to hold the foam block in place and to provide the lifter with a grippy area to hold.

Q: IS EAB GOOD FOR TAPING EARS?

TEARABLE EAB 5cm is the most commonly used tape for taping ears, especially in contact sports such as Rugby. Use alongside Fixation Tape for extra protection.

Q: CAN EAB BE USED TO PREVENT BLISTERS?

TEAR EAB is a great choice for weightlifters looking to protect their thumbs and fingers from blisters. For hikers and applications on the feet, we’d recommend using our Zinc Oxide Tan Tape or Kinesiology Tape.

Q: IS ELASTIC ADHESIVE BANDAGE WATERPROOF?

EAB is not waterproof. However it is breathable and water resistant, meaning that it will survive a heavy down pour during a match, but not watersports.

Q: IS TEAR EAB REUSABLE?

TEAR EAB isn't re-usable as the glue will come off when the tape is removed. Depending on what you were hoping to use it for, you may be able to use our Cohesive Bandage, which is self-adhesive, and re-useable a few times
