A terrific wallet at a terrific Amazon price!
This is the second one of these wallets that I have purchased. The last one lasted 6 years, which i think is great. The pin that held the elastic band in place broke and could not be fixed. Thus, I ordered another and 48 hours later I had my new one ready to go at approximately the same price I paid 6 years ago. A very nice wallet and I highly recommend it!

Great wallet
Have this wallet for 4 years, dropped UT does of times and still in good condition. Get lots of compliments on it. Fit 12 cards and money folded in half. Going to buy a new one!

Solidly functional
Question: Are there magnets involved in the internal closure? If so, that could be a concern with the magstripes on cards...Comment: The money clip has a rather snug fit. I started out putting my regular payment cards with a couple cash bills under the clip on that side, but then realized that the money clip was scratching the surface off the card creating some plastic dust in the wallet interior.Suggestion: Consider creating a dual-sided central card holder such that one can keep commonly used payment cards on one side separate from ID and other such cards that aren’t used/removed as often (so you don’t have to go searching through a single stack to find one or the other) and then maybe place the money clip on one of the inside walls of the outer clam shell.Overall, I’m well satisfied with this unit as I’m confident it will serve better (with RFID protection and total durability) versus my old leather wallets. Thanks for a quality product (so far).

Still going strong, 5 years later
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Bought this in 2019 and it's still my daily. Unlike normal wallets, the shape and size never changes, it slips in and out of pockets easily, and it feels perfectly balanced in one pocket with my phone in the other pocket. To me this all outweighs the bulkiness of it compared to a "thin" wallet that you eventually fill until it get to this size anyway - but those are never truly latched shut. If you're delicate with the latch, it will stay strong and never pop open. The aluminum sheath looks cool to me and takes blunt force well, but is thin and glued on so don't try to apply other forces to it. Overstuffing the wallet is one such example - the plating will start to raise off the edges. You can also figure out how to open it to the correct side every time, cash or cards, with some practice. It doesn't fit a ton of bills, which is fine for me, forcing me to reorganize every once in a while. The number of cards that fit is pretty high though, definitely all I need for the average day and then some. I have about 15 cards stacked, some thick some thin.Great for decorating, including the inside. If you're into minimalist wallets you probably know about how all the pockets that separate cards in traditional wallets account for most of the bulk and you can't actually store that much before it gets bigger than this wallet. This one stores everything efficiently, is lighter than it looks, and gives me a clear line of what can and can't fit so I don't go overboard. Stays in my pocket at all times, i slide it out an flip it open to slip a card out to use, then it slips right back in the wallet under the elastic strap as I close it and tuck it back away all in one fluid motion. Most of the size is due to the cash compartment, because US bills are kinda tall yo. But that clip is also a great place to store business cards, and other cards that are larger than the bank card shape. You can write your emergency contact or lost&found info right on the walls in there, or use a sticker.Downsides: sometimes the cash clip is a little hard to add cash to because it holds tight. Cash must be oriented well or else it will get in the way of the closing door. The metal plating starts to rise off the plastic base over time, so the edges float - it still hasn't come off though.

Garbage, Don’t waste your time
Absolute trash!!!!! Lasted me three whole weeks, didn’t put anything in it but the slotted number of cards in it. Clasp broke. Piece of garbage.

Good wallet - not a great clasp
My husband loves the wallet. However, the clasp breaks quickly and easily. He ends up with elastics to keep it closed. He is on his third one as he loves the size, style and organization. He would just love if the clasp lasted as long as the rest of the wallet. He is one his next one because the elastic on the inside has now broken after 3 years.

First one lasted 3 1/2 years. Bought two more.
Bought this wallet in May of '21 to replace a similar, lower quality one I had for a year or so. LOVE IT! It lasted for 3.5 years before I finally dropped it and the plastic latch broke. But, that was probably the gazillionth time I had dropped it over those 3.5 years. I'm extremely active, travel for work and I am generally hard on stuff; my wallet got put through the paces frequently. So, for it to have lasted so long, is truly impressive. Impressive enough that I purchased two more to replace it.I have been intending for the last year or so to buy a spare for when my previous one bit the dust. But, they were always out with no back order. Needless to say, I was really happy to see them available again when this one broke. I bought a second in the event they stop making these. Yes, I like it that much! So, hopefully these two will have me covered in the wallet department for the next 7 years. As others have said, you have to fold your bills, which is my only gripe. But, that's an acceptable tradeoff for me. I don't usually carry more than 4-8 bills anyway, and I can always close it. I carry 4-5 cards, (debit, CC or two, gas card, Sam's card). I also keep my DL and all of my insurance cards under the CC's under the strap. In the back part under the money clip, I keep my fishing license, other import license, and my National Park card along with the bills. Couldn't be happier.
