Best set! Need more nails!
My daughter got a similar set a few years ago that is still played with in our house constantly so for my son's birthday I decided to find another set. It really is the best but seems like it's not a very widely known about product? It's such a genius material for kids construction and can occupy my kids for hours. It just needs more nails. I can't find anything that resembles a replacement for more anywhere!

Educational but the tools are cheap and break easily
The foam wood and screws are fun for my children. They are learning woodworking basics. The tools are cheaply made. The tape measure is junky. The pliers broke the first time my son used them. I wouldn't recommend this particular kit.

This is great time spent learning how to build and create something.
I liked the quanity of foam and screws and tools. It was just right for our boys 4-8yrs. Old and they were able to do three projects with the foam board. It is perfect for kids because the tools work like tools but are safe. They liked the fighter jet and tank they made. The fighter jet didn't have instructions for it but with my help they were able to figure it out.

Great for an 8 Year Old
I got this set for a little guy turning 8, who LOVES construction. I needed it to be easy for him to use himself as his mom is super busy. It is great. He can build using the instructions or make what he wants without the danger of injury!

Great idea poorly executed.
My wife and I purchased this for our 4 year old as a Christmas gift. I was really looking forward to sharing my love of building with my son. The best thing about this toy is the price. The tools are very cheaply made. The instructions only had pictures of assembling the pieces after they were cut but no measurements how to cut the pieces and the company doesn't have a website with any instructions, The tape measure belt clip broke the first time my son pulled it off his pocket. Cheap
A couple of tools snapped while opening packages. No directions. They have possible things to make but no dimensions, or details. Do not recommend for 5 and up. More for younger children. Do not recommend.

Great Kit for Kids
We were in a bind and needed to work on a "build it" assignment for Cub Scouts, this kit was a lifesaver. The variety of "tools" was good, the booklet allowed my son to select the option that appealed to him most and he still had additional pieces that he has used for some free form building ideas. I recommend this product. He had a good time using it, it arrived quickly and in excellent condition.
