Bruns Pendula Weeping Serbian Spruce 2 - Year Live Plant

All four plants arrived tiny in fair condition but very dry. They were so tiny, so much smaller than I thought they would be. All four in their pots fit on a dinner plate with room to spare. They were just live twigs. We gave them water and set them on the porch in a protected area for a few days. After a week or so, we thought it safe to plant as they were acclimated to the climate so we planted all the four we ordered. Unfortunately, not a single one survived the winter. They remained green for approximately two months before winter snow but were dead in March when the snow melted. We were hopeful and continued to care for them for months just in case the roots had survived. We gave up last month (October) and removed the dry dead twigs before this winter arrives. Perhaps a greenhouse and years of patience they would have grown to a 3 foot plant. It would take 20 or more years to be the tree.

I'm more hopeful then some people. The one I received was about 8" tall from base of trunk to top. The roots seem to be in good shape, and it was packaged well. I am excited to see how well it grows. I'll post pictures of the tree I received before and after planting.(Update)Healthy with new growth after less than 1 month of planting the tree.

Well my spruce is doing grate, thanks to great packeching when it was deliver is looking great an growing fast looks healthy, I'm glad I got it considering getting another one in the future, thanks.

I received a tiny little thing that, one day, if we both live long enough, may end up looking like the image shown. Definitely not worth the money.

As can clearly be seen from the photo, this is a grafted small branch. What was advertised is a 2 year live tree. I’m not like others who complain about the size of the tree. I understand that a two year old tree is going to be small but this is NOT a two year old tree. This is a grafted branch from a mature tree onto an unknown pine base of about 3-4 years. Please see the picture, that was taken directly out of the box.

Allow for your expectations to be realistic because this comes as a very small tree. I planted it in April, and it is still alive and healthy, but it will be years before it’s full size.

Very Tiny little tree. Thought two years looked differently but I hope it thrives.
