Akemi Stain Repellent Nano 250ml

I used this product to seal my new quartzite countertops. I opened all the windows and turned on the fans (it was a nice day out) for ventilation. It was easy and the product dried quickly, a little polishing and the countertops looked shiny and when wet the water beaded up. Good product.

This is what the people who installed our marble bar top used to seal it. I'd taken a picture and ordered this when I needed to re-seal. It seems to work although it is very pricey.

I tried it, on honed marble as I couldn’t really get an answer if it will make it shiny or not. Does not change the appearance of marble at all, doesn’t make it shiny. Easy to apply. Instructions are not great but you can watch a video. Apply wait 20 min and wipe. Easier than some other sealers. No residue left. I applied two coats and the water just beads off the stone. Smells a little so open the windows. Not sure how it will work in a long run but impressed with the product for now. Also used it on my polished marble with same results. Bottom line doesn’t change appearance of your stone and leaves a invisible layer that prevents liquid from penetrating the stone. However, the stone will still etch. Update- after the year of using I love this sealer. Still have original bottle and I use it often. My marble doesnt stain and really helps with etching. If you wipe it fast enough the sealer will protect it from etching also. Any etching that did accrue I hone with a sponge reapply sealer and it’s perfect again. Best sealer I’ve tried

I would rate this a 4 only because I haven’t had a long enough time to see its full effects yet. It deserves a 4 though because it is very easy to apply and was able to be buffed nicely into a great shine. So far, I would definitely recommend this product. Shipping was fast and it has lived up to my expectations thus far.

Waste of money. Left my black granite cloudy. Had to buy another product to clean up the mess.

We decided to self-apply to a new granite installation. Akemi Nano worked great. We were nervous about making the application but my wife and I worked as a team - she applied and I followed with a wipe down behind her after giving the Nano a bit of time to penetrate. After application and "drying", the granite became very smooth to the touch and water beaded up on it. We are very happy with it. Just take your time, follow the instructions. You can do this.

This is the only brand our granite fabricator will use or recommend. I put on three coats a year ago and the water resistance is still excellent. Use it in fair weather and open all the windows - wear a ventilator mask if you have one. The fumes are brutal.
