I buy books on Amazon all the time, but this is the second time I have ever rated a book on Amazon and it is because I want people to know that this humble-looking book is an excellent book on English spelling rules. This is a very good book that gives a comprehensive list and explanations of the rules governing English spelling. It is fun to read and easy to use. There is an excellent chapter on the history of English spelling rules that I enjoyed so much. Thank you, Mr. Fulford.

I used this as a reference book for a staff meeting to skill-up some of our teachers who had never been taught spelling skills at school themselves. The rules are succinct and clear with lists of examples and exceptions. This book would be useful for you or your staff if some are struggling with the rigours of the new English curriculum. It sits alongside current spelling schemes and is a great quick reference guide for teachers. Highly recommend!

Amazing resource for teachers! I can't wait to use this book with my 7th graders this year. The book covers everything from syllables, apostrophe usage rules, spelling rules, and affixes. I highly recommended for any elementary or ELA teacher.
