Setup was a breeze—just skim the quick‑start guide, pop in two AAA batteries, and you’re ready to go. I’m using mine to count down to retirement, but the clock comes with several interchangeable faceplates (Retirement, Wedding, Custom, and more), so you can tailor it to any milestone. In honor of my husband’s dream birthday vacation, golf at the Old Course at St. Andrews, I wanted to get him something that would be a fun reminder. This countdown clock was perfect. It comes with two background options. One for the clock “occasion” you choose (birthday, wedding date, etc.). There’s also a blank background you can write/draw on. I decided to make my own, print onto a thicker paper, and then use one of the other backgrounds as a template for cutting out. Super easy and it worked out great. You can set for the exact time you want, down to the second. I set ours for the date and our actual tee time. My husband loved it and has it set on his desk at his office. He’s said that the clock has been one of his favorite gifts and it’s been great to look at regularly to see the days getting closer. Highly recommend for any occasion.

I bought this as gift for a friend who will be retiring soon. She loves it! She also liked that you can change the background for different occasions.

Perfect for many count down occasions. Works well and not too big for desktop or dresser.

Kinda weird to set up. Hard to read and when you hit the light up button, you feel like you may accidently reset it. I have it set at eye level so that helps

This was one of my husband's Xmas gifts. He's retiring in May of 25 and I thought this would be cute on his desk. He had no trouble setting it up and pretty much every day I get the countdown lol. It's the perfect size for the desk. If you know someone retiring in a few months, this is a really cute gift.

I needed a clock that could countdown over ten years and this one can. I strongly dislike my job and need a visual reminder that this too, shall pass. I think it would be great focus point for anyone using time to get to an end result or vision. It could even be decorated with themes to suit one’s individual goal. It is a nice, compact size and came with easy to follow directions on how to set the desired countdown timer. It is plain black and comes with a retirement or birthday interchangeable border for the clock face.
